Time to start a new thread. Hopefully by the time this one has finished there will have been a terrible disaster and half the current cast will have disappeared.

At least Jazz-hands-Andrea is on her way out. I'd be grateful if she would take a coach-load with her.

Two of the dullest episodes ever. Is anyone interested in these stories about the various buyers and suppliers and their meetings with whoever happens to be running the factory at the time? Similarly , the wedding between Alya and Gary(one of the dullest characters ever). Just get wed and done with it; but no, we're bound to have more soul-searching about whether to confess to the one-night stand with Jason. On the upside it was nice to see Steve; is he back or was this his last appearance for a while? Glad to see Maria has made arrangements for Ozzie to be cared for, presumably Liam is going with her.

Yes, the factory suppliers and buyers story tonight was so dull.

I don't like the revenge porn story. It feels too dark for Corrie and I'm trying not to imagine what Steph was doing in those pics/video clips...

The new characters and the factory/contract stuff was beyond tedious.

The car racing stuff isn't convincing as wotsisname just flipflops rather than showing any convincing dilemma, and his mate could easily latch on to another driver. Who cares?

And since when has the British Army had any infantrywomen, let alone a hot one? (or was I so bored at that point I wasn't paying attention and missed that she's in a foreign army?)

God its back to being complete garbage again then only watched first episode last night that was enough- the conversation between Steph and Andy- utterly ridiculous he's been living there forever and its like they've just noticed?!

Alya has to be one of the most boring characters ever. She almost makes Gary seem interesting. Almost.
The factory stuff was beyond tedious. It doesn't work, to force new characters in, by having a scene just with them, as was done last night. It felt about an hour long, that scene, in the Bistro, with Johnny, Kate and the buyer. Yawn.

I wish tough David had appeared while Callum was still around. He is so much better, now that he has rediscovered that side of himself.

I recorded both episodes and flicked through them both in around 15 minutes - too tedious for words.

I find any scenes in the factory totally unrealistic.

The only storyline ever with the factory is that someone nearly bankrupts it, 'the girls' all pull together and do overtime then - hey presto!- the business is pulled back from the brink and whoever the current owner gets to go back to having pots of cash again within weeks. Huzzah!

Yy to nasty David coming back, where was he when he was needed??

Corrie are filming the Christmas episodes now, I learnt that on the tour last week

Hope that you enjoyed the tour. I did it earlier this year, and they were preparing to film the scenes about Deirdre's death.
I'd love to go back again, I believe it's closing at the end of the year though.

I read an interview with her last week in Inside Soap and she says she starts in February so with Corrie being filmed two months before airdates, we won't see any of her episodes until mid Spring at the earliest.

Thanks South hopefully news of her big cull will be enough to get me through the next few months of dire viewing.

Rachel - I really loved it and even DH enjoyed it, the tour guide was brilliant really insightful and told little things that id have never known! It was totally surreal standing on those cobbles and really weird seeing it on TV now even though I know it's not the same place!

Funnily enough there was a production crew there when we were, they were pointing at the houses and consulting a clipboard so don't know what was going on there

Aw, that is great, hotpatootie. We all loved it too, we were as excited as kids, at Christmas, going in. I loved walking in, and seeing the sign 'Coronation Street', and walking on the cobbles. I love now looking at old clips, that were made on that set, and picturing, where we walked in, and seeing the yard behind the Rovers, and so on.

When Billie first came onto the scene he was rarely around on the street. Recently he is hardly ever off the screen. I'm sure Sarah could report him for harassment! Speaking of Leanne, how long was Simon supposed to be away visiting Peter?
