Time to start a new thread. Hopefully by the time this one has finished there will have been a terrible disaster and half the current cast will have disappeared.

At least Jazz-hands-Andrea is on her way out. I'd be grateful if she would take a coach-load with her.

Was the child (whose name I've forgotten ) in the scenes last night at Anna's place? Gary and Izzy were both there, but there was no mention of him, I think. I only half watch, at best, so maybe I missed him. Maybe Faye brought him off to listen to tapes, Tracy's old ones.

I thought the garage was converted when Sarah-Lou was going out with Jason?
He came round to measure up so maybe he didn't get as far as doing any work?

The little boy was Jake (Izzy and Gary's son, Tina was surrogate)

What happened to Joseph, did he go with Katie and her mum?

I really think they will put Tim with Anna. All the signs are there, so typical Corrie, the only good thing on the street and they're going to ruin it with their meddling.Do they really think that is what we want, all doom and misery. Well done Corrie script writers, for destroying what used to be the best soap on the box. What with the pathetic Callum/Beth/Sarah nonsense, the depressing Hope/Fizz scenes, the ridiculous Tracey and Robert carry on, the pairing of Sally with Tim were a breath of fresh air. Unbelievable to even think of destroying that.

Jake, yes, I just couldn't think. Joseph went with Katie.
Was Jake there last night? Or has he been forgotten? I genuinely only half watch, most of the time.

Completely agree mellow with all of your comments and I hate that they suddenly have Tim and Anna getting on so well, and making eyes at one another.

Rachel Jake was there last night but it was a blink and you'll miss him thing- he zoomed in on Izzy's lap. It's been so long since he's been seen/mentioned I'd forgotten he existed!

I know Tina was Jake's surrogate mother. Was Gary the father?

Yes, he's biologically the child of Gary/Izzy, carried by Tina as surrogate.

And Izzy has EDS, which I've heard is a heritable condition on a dominant gene, so he will have it to, though the mildness/severity of the condition varies enormously.

I guess they arrested Tracy because if she did it she 'broke in' or stole the keys to get in and so they think maybe she set the place on fire deliberately. Whereas with Carla it was seen as an accident?

And re Izzy...wonder what they're going to do with her character now. She has no family left on the street so is very peripheral now. She's a bad actress anyway so more than happy for her to go!

I'd forgotten Izzy even existed until last night........

Well, I suppose Izzy's family is Gary (were they ever married?) and Anna, Jake's Grandma. Though Anna never looks after him or even mentions him.

The Kid-in-the-Wardrobe has been done in Eastenders with Liam hiding Cindy under his bed.

Jake will have 50/50 chance of EDS. Or possibly when they did IVF they selected for embryos without the gene.

Well, I wasted an hour watching last night's episode...... Jason, from being at death's door a few days ago, has launched into full fighting mode, pausing occasionally to clutch his midriff in order to remind us of his delicate state..... Stef, when the Bistro is at its busiest, leaves work to help Maria in a harebrained scheme to damage Luke's car.....and, of course, Eileen had to ruin the chicken.

I didn't really understand about the car thing, why didn't they want him racing it? Didn't Maria buy it?

Is it wrong that I despise Anna? Looks set for Corrie to ruin about the only thing it's got going for it Tim and Sally.

Jason looks as though he spent his time in hospital on a sunbed. Thanks to whoever updated about him when I asked last week BTW.

Hirples please can you tell me what Andrea has done to Lloyd? I went on holiday for a fortnight and I've caught up on everything else, but have no idea what she's done? They've split up over it but what was it as she said last night she's never cheated on him?

Andrea's daughter urgently needed some money (about £1k IIRC) and to get it, Andrea stole one of Lloyd's prized vinyl records and sold it. Lloyd found out because he took a call about it from the record dealer (when he idly answered Andrea's phone). Furious, he broke it off, even though she tried to get it back on track by somehow buying it back (not sure how they filled the plot hole of her having no money). Lloyd got it together with Liz again, by accident really a but the one off/FWB that they were talking about seemed to have warmed rapidly into something more like a relationship that is budding promisingly.

Angua is spot on with the Andrea thing. She got the money from one of those very, very expensive sharks.
