Yes Kelly that only just edges ahead of labelling every item of clothing. I can't imagine how all those wonder mums out there can sew labels onto everything. The only thing worse is sewing ballet ribbons onto the shoes trying to position them correctly, make them secure and not ruin the very thin fabric.

KellyHb · 14/08/2015 23:33

I only hope DD never wants to start doing ballet. Confused

Rhubarb01 · 15/08/2015 00:08

Thankfully those days are now over. Nice while it lasted and we've got some lovely clips of them doing their stuff on stage etc but eventually ballet proved too tame for them and they moved onto more energetic pursuits. Nice as it is it doesn't really provide a lot exercise unless you're really good at it and doing lots of classes. But as a little girl who always wanted to do ballet but couldn't I was glad they got a chance to try it for a few years.

icemistOBE · 15/08/2015 08:14

Off to work. The actress who posted the Instagram photo I popped on here said its someone called Charlie.... I'm still 50/50 on whether he's in Reign again and it might be like last year where it was never really announced.

Clarks shoes- I got them last year and they did Kian the whole school year. So £30 well spent. I got him a cheapy pair from shoezone for wedding and they were scuffed to bits after the one day if I'dgot them for schoo he'd have needed loads of pairs so costing loads over the year.

Morning all. Lovely pics ice especially the first one where in the scene he's acting all shy and coy with Molly.

Great Intel ice. I was looking for a while for the name but could see the name. Whereabouts was it?

I think BA is in Reign esp after that snippet of interview I found from the writer. I don't like it if he's in it. I've had no interest in Reign whatsoever. Esp if this programme gets him noticed in Hollywood Confused

Sunny here. Off to post office in a bit. Then lots of washing to do. Sad

KellyHb · 15/08/2015 09:13

Sorry ice yip just spotted the Charlie name.

Dizzydots · 15/08/2015 09:56

He's been the subject of much discussion on here, so who's up for a ride at the first Thomas theme park?!

Dizzydots · 15/08/2015 09:59

Come to think of it ice perhaps you could check it out when you're over there next month. After all they are offering a 20 minute ride with Thomas himself :/

pixieg1rl · 15/08/2015 13:39

I survived nursery leaving BBQ without crying, although I had to shut the leavers book sharpish when I started to read the teachers comments. I need to get those ladies some nice presents.

cjwoofwoof · 15/08/2015 15:33

20 minute rides are nowhere near long enough dizzy unless full on shunting is involved Grin

cjwoofwoof · 15/08/2015 15:35

Just read they are revamping the Cadburys Milk Tray Man adverts in the autumn - but havent released the name of the actor playing him. Erm...I can think of someone who'd carry off a black polo neck and trousers or a full on tuxedo...

icemistOBE · 15/08/2015 16:20

Sales would rocket if they did woof Grin

Is it a coincidence woof that I can recall us discussing the subject of the Milk Tray Man a few months ago and we were making that very suggestion. Maybe Cadburys have been lurking on here and picked up our suggestions! Perhaps we should make lots more...

OK we can now let loose on scenarios in which BA can race around Mission Impossible style to deliver that gift which is certain to melt any woman's heart - I don't think!

Rhubarb01 · 15/08/2015 16:29

OK Cadburys if you can't get BA (he might be free between Reign and OG) please can we have RPJ or practically anyone on the naked fireside wrestling list except Nicholas Witchell or The Sausage. No expense should be spared. In fact perhaps the advert could start with a bare chested man in an ancient castle/mansion (Castell Coch) busily engaged in wrestling by the light of fire before remembering that he has an urgent task to undertake. Naturally this will involve a mad dash in a fast car (possibly an Audi for you Kelly), a bit of speedboat (Cardiff docks are closest) before ending up somewhere glamorous to leave his chocolates before straight back to more wrestling where he returns with a wink and says "Missed Me".

pixieg1rl · 15/08/2015 16:32

Saatchi & Saatchi will be with you presently rhu

cjwoofwoof · 15/08/2015 16:56

...and if the chocolates have melted, can he leave some kind of alternative deposit...??

cjwoofwoof · 15/08/2015 17:01

In that case Rhu , if advertisers/companies are following this chat, can I suggest Manu for a real life Mr Muscle? That orange caricature really won't do and Manu does stubborn stains so well...

Rhubarb01 · 15/08/2015 17:39

woof I suspect I've led too sheltered a life but who or what is Manu or shouldn't I ask? Google did bring up a picture of a horrifyingly muscle bound man and I certainly don't want him creeping stealthily into my boudoir (yes that was an adverb and an unintentional euphemism) otherwise it was Man Utd all the way.

Ilovelblue · 15/08/2015 17:43

Ladies, just asked CJ if he's up for the Cadbury advert and he said yes!

It's quite hot here in Paris but heavy rain in the night. We were out sightseeing this morning and then some shopping/strolling on the Champs Elysees. CJ got distracted in the Nespresso shop and then eith the McLaren sports car.

Love your Milk Tray advert idea rhu. Yes an Audi must be used. BA's long fingers wrapped around the gear paddles, gently pressing backwards and forwards whilst held tightly by the RS leather seats is an advert is definitely tune in for. Grin

We get a box every week as DH loves Milk Tray and does my ever expanding waistline Confused I wonder if BA would deliver a box straight to me as we seem to be keeping the company afloat these days.

By the way my Post Office package was unfortunately no artificial BA phallice but some old family photos in frames sent by an Aunt who lives in Surrey. Never mind. One can dream. Hmm

KellyHb · 15/08/2015 18:00

Yey ilove. You've gone above and beyond that we've got our Milk Tray man at last. Pure CJ style pics ilove. The McLaren may be a better CJ car than the Audi. Wink

cjwoofwoof · 15/08/2015 18:28

Oh really Rhu I'm very disappointed with you!! Manu is of course Manu Bennett (yep, probably the horrifyingly muscle bound specimen you googled) - who better for the Mr Muscle Man?

Rhubarb01 · 15/08/2015 18:38

The one who appeared for me was Manu Ortiz Martinez - look him up and I'm sure you'll agree that is horrifying!

Oh goodness I didn't realise you were referring to Lego man again. Woof you need treatment and not the kind you are probably thinking about.

cjwoofwoof · 15/08/2015 18:47

Eeew no, no, no Rhu not him - my leather-trousered Manu is a much better specimen. Call me old fashioned but I think you'll find Lego extremely versatile and keeps you occupied night and day, despite being a bit rough round the edges Grin

Rhubarb01 · 15/08/2015 18:53

Oh well I'm all for taking the rough with the smooth so perhaps I'll just have to allow you your little foibles. Everyone should have a foible now and then!

Spanish muscle man didn't 'alf give my youngest DD a laugh though. We were trying to decide if that shiny thing on his pants is his number.
