Just realised I forgot to get back to you about Cornwall pix! Been a long day! I'll see where we are when we get there, and message you, if that's OK, but Bodmin might work? Might gonna be a bit difficult to drink though, as it'll be me driving (DH bottled out of Cornwall, so will be by myself with the kids). Supposed to be packing, but so far got out the kids wet suits to find out that they don't fit ... so not getting very far ...

Just had my dose of 'me' time, aka a trip to Sainsburys without DS. Let's just say the trolley was clinking nicely.

Pixie, that's so funny, what'd be funnier is he anyone from work mentions it!! I've just had a very exciting jaunt (not) round sainsbury too, now to take my car to be fixed and the kids to DH for my afternoon "off" which I will now be spent sitting waiting for my car. Am going to take a book and pretend I am relaxing!!!

Just arrived at our Paris hotel. OMG. I will never worry again about leaving a hotel room in a mess. Apart from the fact the room hadn't been cleaned, the previous occupants must have lived like pigs. In reception now whilst they clean it. It actually looks a nice hotel otherwise in a central location! Dry but not sunny and rather humid.

Yuck, ilove I hope the hotel is finding some way to make it up to you

Now safely installed in a cleaned room and beds made up. The chambermaid had made it up as a double so we had to say we wanted two beds so she unzipped it, made it into two beds then put a double duvet over it so we had to complain again!

There have been a lot of soldiers around today, especially at the Gare de Lyon. Most didn't look old enough to be out unaccompanied. Definitely not an OG moment.

Bank holiday in France tomorrow so thankfully my friend's shopping addiction will be curtailed. Most of the shops will be shut. I think we'll do some of the standard stuff such as Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe etc.

Ice just heard on the news about the giant hole that suddenly appeared in the middle of a road in Manchester. Looks like your secret underground bunker has been found!

Drinking after 7pm sounds pretty reasonable Pixie. I walked past two pubs this morning and saw men drinking pints at 10.50 am! Must admit to having partaken of a little tipple myself already with my dinner which doesn't happen very often but now that I have a proper job I might just make it a little Friday habit.

Picture could be BA but might just be some random bloke out for a stroll. However, the Brit invasion tag sounds like it's meant to be a Brit actor so let's just believe it is.
