Thought I'd just pop in...20 mins after I remembered my password so I could reset it..having a break from unpacking and laundry. Will catch up on thread later but I hope that all were waiting for exam results did okay. Nephew off to uni in Bath!!!!!
Have developed an addiction for pina colada (sp)?, and for once I even have a tan.

had to do factory reset on the laptop. Luckily I had all my OG stuff backed up. Think I've lost a few photos, but nothing I haven't posted somewhere to d/load again

Evening all. My squidgy pud went down a treat last night together with rather too many bottles of prosecco. We sat out in the garden until 1 30 in the morning - it was lovely and warm and I didn't even need to borrow PG's bed jacket woof will be relieved to know.

pixie hope you've arrived safely. If you have wifi keep me posted on weather cos my dd has v intermittent phone signal and no wifi and keeps igoring my queries as to what's going on.

Busy day today. Only just had chance to sit down.

DD loved her friends party this morning. Not many other children turned up though that was invited and their parents didn't let birthday child's parent know if they were going or not.

Brought canvases home after getting them processed but when we got them out of the packaging, some of the pictures are really dark so we have to take them back

I was queuing in M&S and saw a TV guide with LT on the cover about some big storyline she's got. I would love her to get all the big storylines out the way now so maybe next year, she could do a half day filming for us and she wouldn't have to go overseas.

Hope you computers working better now ice. We couldn't deal without your Intel.

pix there's nought wrong with a pint of cider, nicely chilled goes with most dishes!! Glad you made it to the West Country in one piece... think there is some fair weather on the horizon!!

orphan don't panic about the dd sometimes it is better not to know!! I have finally accepted that actually no news is good news is a better model for personal sanity!!

Nice and sunny which is wonderful after the huge thunderstorm last night/evening.

jen fantastic chapter. Simply love the QS, especially on a lazy Sunday morning!!

Sad news for us last night, DH dad died. He had been very ill. He was diagnosed with vascular alzheimers about 7 years ago and over the last year had really deteriorated. In fact you wouldn't keep an animal that state he was in (having to be craned in and out of bed, couldn't feed himself, nappies etc). So actually as sad as it is, it was actually a relief.

rich that's so sad, I'm so sorry for you and your dh - hope you're all as ok as you can be. Such a tough situation
