Maybe a change will be good for him though richtea. In hindsight I think my ds would have benefited from doing sixth firm elsewhere. He almost felt too familiar with the school and I think fell back on former 'glory'. A new environment might have shaken things up a bit.

We've had loveyl weather this week despite the forecast which was rain all week - been ot and sunny every day until today, but it's still warm despite the rain. pix wanted to let you know though, that there are roadworks on the a30 between launceston and Bodmin, so if you can, come off at launceston, info from my friend I'm going to see who lives near Padstow ... She said to avoid it if I could ...

DS's now finished nursery. I made a complete tit of myself crying. I'm not reading the notes from staff right now, it's too much.

DS completely unbothered and is licking chalk off the chalkboard (well I do worry he doesn't get enough calcium )

Hello! I was wondering if it was possible to join you lovely ladies? I have spent a while googling to try and find an avenue for my CJ/BA/our girl/fab fiction obsession and Google has led me here. I recently had a baby and the night feeds have allowed me to read pretty much all of the threads (a lot of night feeds ;-) ) reading has kept me sane over the last few months and was hoping you wouldn't mind another obsessed our girl fan even though the group is very established?

I joined one of the our girl anonymous Facebook pages recently but it was a little odd.... Apologies to anyone on it!

I'm back from hols in wifi free land and celebrating dept's GCSE results with a glass of prosecco
richtea, it's worth talking to school - there's generally more leeway with the school you are already at. Wanting A or A* is quite a high requirement. Most would let you do A level with a B. Good luck

Well done to your DS on the GCSE results richtea - they sound pretty good to me. Nothing wrong with some good solid B's and C's. I'm sure your son will do very well with his A level studies. After all by the time he takes them we will still be discussing Series 2 of OG!!

Feeling a bit annoyed with my dog tonight. Just when my kids reached the age of keeping themselves to themselves the dog has taken over behaving like a toddler all the time. His favourite habit is to deliberately and repeatedly lose his tennis ball or squeaky bone under the furniture where he can't get it then stand there staring and moaning at it then you, then it, then you until you are forced to retrieve it for him so he can try to force you to play with him. OK off to get squeaky bone from under the sofa....again!
