I think he actually mentioned several rental properties he'd seen advertised. Presumably the writers have seen our discussions about elastic houses.

I guess from the writer's Point of view it means they can give Jake his year off and not have to confront the Bobby Did It aspect yet.

Had Max been found guilty and gone to prison, Lauren would have told the truth. If he'd been found not guilty, the investigation would have had to go on.

Looking forward to the Kathy stuff coming up and hopefully something other than this annoying storyline that drags on for all eternity!
