I agree that Dean is going to be abusing Roxy. There is no way he would have accidentally burnt her. I guess his promised comeuppance will be courtesy of Phil and Ronnie.

Hels20 · 26/09/2015 13:53

Phil threatening a jury member is completely ridiculous.

And as for Ronnie - she has become a horrible character. No morals and completely unlikeable. I hope she and Vincent get sent to prison for a long time for whatever they have done to Charlie (doubt they have killed him) just so that we won't have to see them. I can't believe what they have done with her character.

Jasonandyawegunorts · 26/09/2015 16:43

so robbie has a child that we didnt know of

According to the Wiki the birth of his son was the reason he couldn't go to Billy's funeral. So it's something someone else made up rather than this set of writers.

SoupDragon · 26/09/2015 16:44

I am both gutted and relieved that Robbie was stealing Sonia's money rather than her underwear.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/09/2015 19:30

Guess that's a good enough reason ro miss your brothers funeral - birth of child - rem billy dying but not Robbies son being born

Survey a murder case the jury /witness won't be allowed back in public I case of people like Phil

I didn't watch eastenders then but I'm guessing it was a throw away line to explain why he wasn't there.

PollysHoliday · 27/09/2015 09:56

i think jurors are only protected if there is a known threat to them.

Intimidating a juror is a pretty serious offence. I know we're supposed to believe that Phil is a crime lord but I think things are getting silly now. For one I would have thought he would have sub contracted the actual deed out so it would be harder to connect him with the offence. Secondly, I would have thought that jurors have briefings about this sort of thing and would know how to report it and seek protection.

We're supposed to believe that Phil thinks committing a serious crime on behalf of an unhinged woman in order to enlist her assistance to persuade his wife to forgive him (I can't even remember what they fell out about, just another falling out in an endless on/off relationship) is a good idea? It's too far fetched.

I always hate the way Eastenders deals with the criminal justice system.

Jasonandyawegunorts · 27/09/2015 10:00

It was only a few episodes ago he was telling Ben "Two people you never mess with Lawyers and coppers, don't touch the law."

QOD · 27/09/2015 10:24

The juror he threatened has also been in some comedies ... he has a face for comedy doesn't he?!

Fakebook · 27/09/2015 10:30

I thought I'd seen that juror before, he looked familiar...the defence lawyer was in Doctor Who last week.

QOD · 27/09/2015 11:02

He's from The Fast Show or something Paul.Whitehouse I'm. Sure

I have been trying to Google

Jasonandyawegunorts · 27/09/2015 11:13

Imdb tells me he's "Rupert Holliday-Evans" and that he's had roles in loads of stuff.

QOD · 27/09/2015 12:05

That's it!!
Harry Enfield! I was almost right

LineyReborn · 28/09/2015 20:03

Here we go. Another untouched fried breakfast, this time in Jane's house.

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/09/2015 20:30

He's done a runner !!!!

OP posts:
Redcrayons · 28/09/2015 20:34

Shock Max!
Wasn't expecting guilty tbh either.

Notgivingin789 · 28/09/2015 20:35

Ha! The runner scene made me laugh.

Hels20 · 28/09/2015 20:41

I was actually pretty gripped by this episode though the end was quite funny. So Max does a runner and comes back in a year. This story line could go on for years....

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/09/2015 20:42

Agree didn't think would be guilty

Lauren will have to say something now

To get her father off or protect her boyfriends phyco brother

Peter on doesn't care about lauren or his baby or else he or a new head Peter would be in ee

LineyReborn · 28/09/2015 20:43

God almighty can this get any crapper? And there's Ian back...

SoupDragon · 28/09/2015 20:44

I wasnt expecting a guilty verdict and a runner.

I was expecting duff duff duff duff duff before the verdict was given.

Fakebook · 28/09/2015 21:08

Bullshit.
High profile murder case and there is no security at the doors and everyone seems to go in and out willy nilly. Confused

Notgivingin789 · 28/09/2015 21:10

Fakebook That was why I was laughing.

CrapBag · 28/09/2015 21:18

Riiiight.

Like Max would have been able to get out like that! Talk about bloody farfetched.

So is this his year break? Is he actually going to be allowed to get away? Carol is about to leave isn't she so maybe he does as I can't imagine her leaving her brother when she thinks he is innocent.

I thought Lauren was going to tell the truth if Max was found guilty. Bet she doesn't so they can drag this out even more. Bored now EE.

Obviously the 10 jurors couldn't be convinced by the foreman. I thought there was enough for reasonable doubt tbh. Definitely not enough to say Max did it.

Redcrayons · 28/09/2015 21:24

I was already eye rolling at Stacey rolling up to Visit Max on a whim. But him escaping!

It's like they can't agree on how to finish the Lucy story so just keep throwing increasingly daft plot twists at it.
