Is that confirmed Lola? I didn't see any of it apart from the clips from Ice but certainly enjoyed the costume discussions so that'll be fun. I guess BA has time before he needs to do OG - if he's doing it. (Fingers Crossed)

Well he's in Canada, they are already in rehearsal for S3, Queen Jeanne has been cast so it all points that way....

I was at an Anglo Saxon village last week and there were all these blokes sitting in the cafe drinking lattes dressed in furry shag rugs. None a patch on BA, but I wished I'd taken a photo.

They'll be sweating if they're gonna be filming wearing those furry coats-I think someone said its boiling hot in Canada at the moment. Oo a sweaty BA. Nice.

It's a lovely day and I'm stuck in ironing and packing. My own fault for not doing the ironing last night I suppose. I watched episodes 1 and 2 to take my mind off it all. Very rarely watch episode 1 as CJ is a bit of a git in it so I'd forgotten a lot of it to be honest.

Not sure if you've heard on the news but we're having problems in Lancashire with contaminated water and are having to boil it for drinking and food preparation. Probably a good job I'm going away! It's taken United Utilities until today (two days later) to start informing households about it. I only found out by chance on Thursday night.

Great updates Lola and Rhubarb. Love both these stories and they are so different.

Just emailed my boss to say farewell and sent it quickly before I changed my mind about what I'd said. I wrote that after 30 years working, I reckoned I was well qualified to know the difference between good and bad bosses and he was definitely in the former category.

Talking of episode 1, the bit at the beginning when CJ looks at Molly in the photo line up, does anyone think that's the first moment he finds her attractive and annoying equally?

I love those sort of discussions Kelly. It takes me back to those early days last autumn when we dissected all the episodes and had lots of semi-serious discussions. If only we had a new series this autumn. I think CJ marks her out as somebody to keep his eye on but not necessarily because he's attracted to her. At that time it's probably just that he thinks she's lippy and cocky and needs stamping down but it means that he pays more attention to her than he might have if she kept herself quiet and in the background. I guess it makes her stand out even more than she might have done in spite of being the only woman.

Thanks rhu. I wish I was part of the threads back then. I think I still act like the series has only just aired when I get all excited/disappointed when we talk about OG. I could easily be gutted again if I think about LT not coming back full time if at all.

I agree with rhu I don't think there's a conscious attraction at that point. Molly's put her foot in it trying to be cheeky and he's going to stamp down on it. I think her look is along the lines of "bollocks/look at that Rupert wanker" and his "there's another one to keep on my radar"

I'm with Rhubarb and pixie on that - I think his first thoughts are just to keep her in line, made worse by the fact she's not trained with the others for the past six months. I reckon he's thinking "If she'd been with us from the beginning, I would either have got rid of her by now or knocked that cockiness out of her".

I had an email back from my boss (what was he doing, two weeks away from finishing work, reading work emails at 2 pm on a lovely Saturday afternoon)? He said some lovely things and I am pretty damn sure I would have cried buckets if he'd said anything like that to my face. I can feel myself filling up just writing it here!

I think I am just menopausal... oh and ready for a holiday.

Yes if it had been left to us the second series would be in the can by now, minimal budget as well as it would be filmed entirely in a hotel bedroom!

Funnily enough pix, whenever I've had a drink, a thought is to tweet TG. Hoping that he's written some scenes we want for CJ/Molly. If he's finding it tough writing this series, I'll put you forward as a suggestion as you know about all the smut we want.

Imagine though if TG has just finished the script. Imagine what you would do to have a peek inside. Quite exciting really.

I'd LOVE it if BA went on Graham Norton. They would have pay me serious money to be anywhere near the audience though.

Just popping in to say excellent nee chapters from rhu and whajeb. I had to wait the entire day to read rhu's, but I'm glad I did, I got to savour it in child free bliss with a glass of wine. Perfect. I agree with Marjorie, that WI needs a Molly Dawes kick up the bum.

Lovely new chapter from whajeb too, wonderful Lottie and her well timed negotiations!

I'd surprise a heck of a lot of people if I was on GN because of BA. Would be so cool though! I haven't brought all my photos with me in my bag- just my fave one. I did see some soldiers the other day but weren't anything special in the low slung combat area....
