Just read that MK and hubby have been having meetings with agents in LA. It would be great if she was offered work over there soon and LT would have to come back

Oh Kelly looks like we'd need a bit of MI5 like subterfuge to intervene on our behalf and offer MK work over the pond. That sounds like a job for Ice. Perhaps she could make a detour when she goes to Canada and intervene with the powers that be in Hollywood. (Mind you as much as I'd love LT back I'm still prepared to keep an open mind on MK and trust the writing).

I have to report that I've just seen Keira Knightley in a film and enjoyed her performance. I was watching The Imitation Game on DVD and thought she was great in it along with BC and also a reasonable size role for Downton's Branson (Allan Leech) although he did look kind of short and stocky in it much more so than in Downton.

Also one of woof's favourites, Matthew Goode. I think I'm getting used to the lack of chin and could probably live with it. Where is woof? Are you out there? Also Orphan are you around or away on holiday? It's hard to keep up with everyone's arrangements. I expect we'll all be back as normal in September. Can we really keep going on here for another year until OG2? So many questions!

Safe to say I will probably lose my mind by the time OG2 airs in 2016 with hoping to see what I would love to happen. Says grump in the corner

Just thought - maybe it's Mark that's looking for work in Hollywood and not MK. Don't think that helps you much though Kelly. Perhaps BA could get her a job on Reign?

I think it said she had some meetings too. To be fair, she may be a good actress. I don't know much about her really. I think it said as soon as she's done OG, she's setting her sights on Hollywood. Probably what BA will try and do again.

Are you still hoping for a bit of LT in S2 rhu?

I think orphan is in Normandy without wifi Rhubarb. No idea where woof is, she's gone to ground somewhere.

Just checked on our hotels and there should be wifi in all three places so hope to stay in contact. Wifi has never seemed so important as it has been this year. I wonder why?

I have a new hobby, reading through the AIBU threads on Sunday mornings, so many tales of DHs getting pissed and staying out half the night.

I hope you have a nice day planned ilove and aren't stuck in ironing and packing. Looks like another beautiful day here, we're off for a family picnic for my mum's birthday.

What a lovely day today is!!! DH have taken kids away for a few days to his Mams down south so I am officially relaxing, watching TV, catching up on FF and eating takeaway food (yes I am reverting back to my 18 year old self!)

A sad tinge to the day as I was just chatting to a neighbour and I knew that her friend had treatment for cancer but her friend was told the other week that it's returned in a different place and they don't know if they can treat it. She's only late thirties and has a young child. Its so awful. It just shows you, live your life while you can.

I don't think we'll have any problems lasting till next Sept (presuming same time for broadcast). We may have a few eps of Reign to laugh at.... The Lucky Man... Plus cast announcements plus hopefully the odd photo from the set. And then you've the amazing FF too.

Yes, I can't wait for any OG behind the scenes pics with BA (if he's in it) and cast. Sick of seeing ones with him and randoms who he's working with. Hopefully more than we got last series. MK likes social media so hopefully she'll take a few.

While looking on the internet there seems to be a growing call for a Series 3 and have Molly and CJ back together and definate cameo scenes in Series 2. God I would love it if that happened. Love the fact there are others who feel so strongly as I do about it.

Just got an overnight bag for tonight. Our main suitcases are in the car. I am panicking that I have forgotten to bring the pre-paid tickets for Versailles next Sun. Not sure whether to go and open my case in the car or just forget about it. Not much I can do about it now anyway but I'm 50 euros down if I have left them at home!

I was thinking nickel you could visit Broadclyst Church where one of his sister's got married. That would be exciting knowing BA had stood thereabouts.

Its strange how there's hardly any pics of the public taken with BA, saying 'here's us with Captain James.' Unless he dresses too dodgily when he's out that nobody would recognise him.

ILove no QS I'm afraid for Carshare. My Mum is reading it not sure I could ever look her in the eye again! lol

Well what should I watch tonight? Have so much stuff that's been recorded that I haven't had a chance to watch. Think I'll go with Grantchester and have a lovely session with James Norton.

One good thing about being down here is that we can drink the water/clean our teeth without boiling it. Not sure how long the boiling all drinking water is going to go on for at home. Hope it's sorted by the time we get home.

We're inundated with wasps so have been getting craftsy constructing all sorts of devious container traps only to find the good old beer bottle is as effective as any. Garden centres had sold out of the official bottle traps. Apparently wasps are a big problem this summer.

Thanks dizzy. Yes my neighbour couldn't quite believe that DH had taken the kids away for a bit. She thought it incredible. I am very much in my element.

Just watched James Norton in this week's Life In Squares and am loving his fine form indeed .

Sorry about your wasp problem dizzy. I was never afraid of them until I was stung twice on my honeymoon and now absolutely terrified. Cue running around screaming if I spot one.
