I shouldn't really have prosecco any more ilove. Tried it for the first time while watching First Light on Sat night. I was practically paralytic after 2 glasses!!. I was tweeting TG random cameo scene snogging requests for CJ and Molly and I was messaging on the OG FF FB site and the message I sent had 11 likes. Quite impressed as I couldn't see straight. Smile

pixieg1rl · 06/08/2015 21:56

Next time you're on the prosecco you need to tweet me Kelly as a safe person.

I'd say give him a hug ilove, it's rare (or it is for me) to find someone you actually like enough to miss at work

KellyHb · 06/08/2015 21:57

I probably would hug ilove but I'm a hugger. It depends what you feel comfortable with really. Or shake his hand and while you're doing it, tell him how much you've enjoyed working with him. Sorry if that's not much advice. Confused

KellyHb · 06/08/2015 21:58

Good thinking pix. Grin

Rhubarb01 · 06/08/2015 22:07

I had a male manager who would give his female staff a kiss on the cheek at Christmas and on such occasions as this in an entirely unpervy way that was quite nice and friendly really. You could try the handshake with sincere second hand placed on the upper arm for extra emphasis possibly combined with a light peck on the cheek or possibly leave off the peck if that is too much. Alternately he might like to use this as an opportunity to give the friendly, sincere peck on the cheek! Golly it's so much easier in France isn't it!

Ilovelblue · 06/08/2015 22:08

Somebody left last week who I was at pains to keep very much at arm's length and my boss actually knew I was freaking out in case this guy tried to kiss me (and thought it funny I have to say) so it's very likely he will keep to a handshake. We'll see how he reacts - I don't want to lunge at him!!

Ilovelblue · 06/08/2015 22:10

He's actually very nice looking as well - I might feel rather embarrassed!

pixieg1rl · 06/08/2015 22:16

Just remember, no tongues ilove Wink

Ilovelblue · 06/08/2015 22:26

Well pixie, remember my female colleague who intimated I was on the verge of an affair with my now ex-colleague (he left last November)? When I was freaking out about the odd bod leaving and I needed to keep him at arm's length last week, she said "Oh that means you won't be able to kiss Mr X". Does she think I'm sort of nymphomaniac?

KellyHb · 07/08/2015 07:31

Morning.

Sunny here today.

ilove hope today isn't too difficult for you. Keep thinking that you're away soon on a lovely holiday. Wine

Ilovelblue · 07/08/2015 08:16

Thanks Kelly. Nice to think CJ will be there too! Wonder what he and ice are up to?

KellyHb · 07/08/2015 08:30

I know. Lucky you and ice. You'll have to take CJ to a lovely cafe in Harpenden to start your holiday off. Smile

Ilovelblue · 07/08/2015 10:22

That's not going to happen Kelly because CJ is meeting me on the Eurostar platform at St Pancras after ice has put him on the flight to Heathrow. However, we are also stopping in Harpenden on the way back so we will be able to have a farewell coffee before I send him on his way. I think BK is next in line. Am I right?

pixieg1rl · 07/08/2015 13:31

Bonus session at gymnastics today. Gymnastics man is looking fucking gorgeous lovely, and gave DS a lovely greeting as we arrived so my ovaries are pinging all over the place.

Richtea19 · 07/08/2015 13:48

pixie how lovely!!! I'm laying on my sun lounger on the beach, hiding behind sunglasses, oogling at a rather buff (can't believe i typed that!) SOS beach man. Totally tanned, ripped muscles. Back to my Demelza Hart book!!

icemistOBE · 07/08/2015 13:49

Good one pix. Grin

KellyHb · 07/08/2015 14:11

Is the instructor wearing tight trousers that show off any type of bulge pix? Grin

pixieg1rl · 07/08/2015 15:28

Shorts are a bit baggy Kelly but bulge clearly discernible Grin

KellyHb · 07/08/2015 18:07

Well pix sounds like you've had a very enjoyable afternoon. Grin. You should be tried to get a sneaky pic when he wasnt looking.

I've just driven DH's sports car for the first time. I've had to practise driving it today as he's taking the family car away with him and the kids on Sunday. I've never been that bothered about driving it before. It seems fairly easy to drive so that's okay although it's quite low to get in and out of. Confused

pixieg1rl · 07/08/2015 18:14

My knowledge of sports cars extends to 2 things. Knees together as you climb out and never try to eat a doughnut in one with the top down.

Nickel45 · 07/08/2015 18:55

Have you tried eating a donut with the top down pix? :)

Rhubarb01 · 07/08/2015 18:56

ooh Pixie it sounds like you attended the Joanna Lumley school of modelling where the most lady like manner of exiting a sports car together with dining etiquette whilst in transit was placed high on the curriculum! That reminds me of the technique my dad used immediately after his hip replacement although his involved sitting on a plastic carrier bag for extra slide control - a potentially handy tip!

pixieg1rl · 07/08/2015 19:02

I have Nickel. It wasn't pretty.

I have no idea what you're talking about rhu. Wink

I will hold that vision in my head Pixie for when you're in free-flowing, prossecco Friday mood - might be later on then?

As for me if I went anywhere like that it would probably have been the Bubble school of Modelling - personality and dress sense at the very least!
