Well, it will be interesting to see if you can smoke her out, so to speak. I know what you mean though about your skewed view - we're probably all a bit like this on here after so long (9 months+ isn't it since OG finished).

Are we planning our AGM to coincide with the anniversary of the date of the last episode? I perhaps need to contact Bailbrook House!

Might need to be a room in a Travelodge Ilove. According to Google there is one actually in Bath. Imagine the concerned looks from staff as twenty or so women of a certain age looking pretty self-conscious and shifty all sidle off to the same room possibly wearing their homemade badges, dressed in low slung camos, displaying a flash of their stag print undies above the waistband and wearing headsets fashioned out of pipe cleaners and straws.

RL - suggest a communal OG watch along at a time to be agreed. But we definitely should mark the occasion.

I've been to the sing a long sound of music show more times than I care to mention ice. Including dressing up. I LOVE them.

Definitely like the idea of a watch-along. I order headsets for use in conference calls in work. I could find some old ones for us all to use to get in the mood if you wish!

Watched the weather forecast for today and subsequently put out a line of washing. Typical.... it's been raining off and on most of the morning so far.

One more get up after today. Hurray! Just booking our tickets online for Versailles. I wasn't sure if my friend would want to go because most of the time she just wants to shop so was a little taken aback when she seemed very keen to do both the palace and the gardens. It must be 20 years since I last went but suppose it won't have changed very much.

Watch along is great idea

I spend a good few hours per working day with my trusty headset, suppose I could extend it for watch along purposes...

I used to work with headsets for years and just when I need one....

I think I'll be fashioning my headset from milk bottle tops and a bendy straw

Oh yes I like the idea of a watch along. I can use my headset from work, held together with sellotape and elastic bands (NHS cut backs!)

As I don't work on Fridays (for another month at least), I declare Thursday to be gin day.

One of my colleagues was 40 last week and had taken the whole week off. I saw her for the first time today and I asked what presents she had got etc etc. She said "dozens of bottles of Prosecco, not sure why as I don't really like it!" It made me think how much better appreciated it would be on this thread!

MrP and I are watching Location x3 on +1 and hurling abuse at how misguided they're being about the Cambridge housing market. Wild times!

Just been having a scout on the internet. Still not much word at all on BA doing Reign apart from what ice sent. From what I read some of this series is going to be based around the English court and Queen Elizabeth and his character was from that court. Potentially he could maybe be in a few episodes.

Also Fox Studios who BA did Detour through, had a presentation thing in LA where they go through what TV information they've got coming up and one of the things was an X-Men TV series (like the film). I've got a feeling that BA could be involved in that and they've kept BA on their radar since Detour went south. Or maybe he would do a little bit of Reign and then maybe something bigger for after OG2 if he's even doing that. I mean he's got a lot going for him. English accent, good looking etc. I'm sure someone mentioned somewhere that he looked like a certain superhero. We won't be lucky enough to keep him in the UK I bet.

Anyway pure random thoughts I thought I'd share.

This woman is as tight as a duck's pixie so there's no way she would give it - she would expect us to buy it. She once bought some face cream from a spa she'd been to and then decided she didn't like it. I said I would be interested in it but she was going to sell it at the same price she'd paid which I thought was a bit cheeky so I changed my mind.

Feel in holiday mood now as I've had shellac polish put on my fingers and toes. May be a sad day though tomorrow as I will have to say goodbye to my boss who is leaving when I am away. Big dilemma: do I hug or shake hands? What do we reckon the protocol is? I am very fond of him (in a boss/subordinate way), have known him a long time and he's one of only two senior managers in the building I respect. Any views?
