I really feel my enjoyment of this episode would have been enhanced if I could remember more of the latter stages of last series. I looked a lot like this

Same. But you know i think the ending of last season was so unexpectedly crap and felt "incomplete" to me that i still dont think i would feel "caught up" IYSWIM.

I think it's watchable on its own. Unless a certain ginger male suddenly appears

fiderer thank you for catching me up on last season, Dar and the deal. I'm still not understanding it. I might have to go and rewatch that season. Not sure if i can rewatch previous seasons. It'll make me long for Brodie again. Not sure I'm there yet Grin i watched band of brothers just to get a damien lewis fix. In my head he is always brodie undercover as someone else

Oh God I'd completely erased Dana from my mind. Maybe I can do a rewatch and since I know the storyline I can zip through the shite bits!

Surly Carrie: swishy blonde hair, ill -fitting trouser suit, sensible cross-body bag - all tick. All we need is the crying face and the season still definitely started.

She can't get better fitting trouser suits: she doesn't care about such matters, has more pressing concerns.

Perhaps Saul is seeking to improve his promotion chances by slimming down and dressing for the job he wants!

How much do we reckon carrie got paid whilst in the CIA? I started watching season 4 again last night and i wondered if she was paying the nanny at her sister's for Franny and also quinn was able to pay the motel six months up front. Are they on megabucks?

She and Quinn probably are paid fairly well, particularly when she was station chief and because they are stationed abroad.
Then her outgoings must have been fairly low in Islamabad, and most expenses paid anyway. They could have a few savings.
Quinn's hotel didn't seem that expensive.

Maybe Saul is lean from all his heartache after separating from his drippy wife. Don't know if they have separated but she annoys me. V mis-matched couple imo.

Quinn looked in need of a few Saul Snacks too.

No wonder they are so thin.

My daughter and I are so annoyed that Cartie really doesn't know how to cover her hair properly when she is forced to put in a headscarf. Always has blonde bits sticking out at the side.

I think a narrower cut leg trouser suit would suit her better. I wonder what brand of shoes she wears? She does a lot of running about. And cycling now, so it seems.

Yes her half assed head covering has always annoyed me too.

The more i watch of carrie the more confused i am about how she ever got as far as she did in the CIA. Ive said it before but she is a complete liability. And she cant lie for shit!! And she is the most unconvincing person ever at persuading people to do anything for her. Why they do i just dont get.

We always laughed when she was on someone of covert mission in the middle of Baghdad or wherever and there was always massive chunks of blonde hair flying out the top of her scarf.

Oh I love the trouser suits. I've always loved a trouser suit, but am too short to really carry them off - but Carrie does it well. Agree the tiny little cross-body bags look a bit shit - they're the sort of thing I wore to school discos.

Have been lurking on this thread since it started and had to delurk to say I love the cross body handbags Grin but have never been known for my sense of style!

Am enjoying this series so far. Am an episode ahead RTE (Irish station) shows it on a Tuesday so will be interested to see what everyone makes of it on Sunday!

I have one of those cross body bags! Grin my mum bought me it as a gift and at first i was Hmm but it grew on me and i actually love it now.

I always quite fancied a bit of Quinn but i was watching last season today and suddenly realised he looks really like my friend's dad! Shock Blush
