A group of our 6th formers won a prize last term and went off to Berlin to collect it. While the staff were doing their 'Jolly good' stuff I was thinking "Bugger, if I worked with the 6th form I could have gone and sloped off to watch Homeland being filmed."

Oh yes, those lovely Autumnal signs that Homeland is close - MN threads about unfair Xmas arrangements and Christmas muffins, new boots and coats, the whiff of Halloween in the air...

Fiderer - I've only been to Berlin once and was blown away by how great a city it is; we must go back. DC1 spent an Erasmus year there and had a blast. There are certainly worse cities you could be stuck in while filming a TV series.

Nice piece [[http://www.designntrend.com/articles/61299/20150926/homeland-season-5-premiere-showtime-new-cast-plot-best.htm here about how it could be the best season ever (but then they've said that about seasons 2,3 and 4 and I've lost all track of what happened in which season in any case).

Meanwhile I have my eye on the What Would Carrie Do? T Shirt. Doesn't really translate into my RL though - what shall I have for lunch at work? WWCD? She'd have Quinn for lunch, that's what.

Not only am I cocking up links, I'm giving you dud information - it is on Sunday 11th October 9pm Channel 4. Here is a link we can blame if I'm wrong.

Fiderer - I've finally persuaded DC4 to give WW a go. We're on Season 1 Episode 3 and he's not stropped off yet. This means I have a whole new captive audience for an entire re-run - very happy days. With that, my fairly recent discovery of Parks and Recreation and now Homeland I'm sorted for telly for the foreseeable future.

But the big Q is Saul Gandalf, Saruman or even Sauron? I just don't know. I really want him to be good.

What telly do you get in Portugal Lweji? UK start is this Sunday.

US was last Sunday but am sitting on my hands (not right now obv as would affect my typing speed if I had to use my nose) and not finding it online.

Did that before and it spoils the fun of being on the thread.

Saul, btw, is Gandalf.

I tend to record the series I like so that I don't forget when they are on, and previously I have kept some episodes until they were shown in the UK

I have watched it yesterday, BTW.
