I've just woken my dd up snorting with laughter at this thread. I hope that creeping jesus is just a kindly stranger who dumps quin at a hospital - I couldn't stand for him to wake up having been captured. Surely no one knows he's worth capturing anyway?
You know Carrie keeps saying that no one believes that she's not with the agency any more - do we think she is or isn't ?

I don't think she is. Which is why she got targeted only after the documents were leaked.

I assumed the leaked files would lead to Red Hair being discovered as a double agent - red assumed that Carrie had sight of them due to being colleagues with the journalist & couldn't afford Carrie exposing her secret (& whatever else they're up to).

I reckon Brody really is dead & gone sadly!

Maybe they are scared of Carrie that's why they wanted her dead. I thought she would have recognised Hair's voice when they called her from the Assassin's phone.

I have to say HAIR is NAILS is genius.

Loved the Quinn, Carrie and Brody 2 dynamic.

But the main thing is that Quinn has proved he loves Carrie more than Jonas (is that his name?) ever will. Totally agree with Hassled but he is a fucked up CIA black ops agent. Just as importantly, Carrie was willing to (perhaps) die to keep him alive by sending him to hospital but then she is very resourceful - as the wig proves.

Loved all the spy stuff today.

I'm waiting for Episode 6, which will air in 1.5 hours here.

Meanwhile, if anyone can explain wtf Quinn was about towards the end of the last episode, I'd be grateful.

It looks like he wanted to make his own body disappear.

Why?

If his body is never found then no questions will be asked, whereas if his body is found then what is a CIA agent's body doing in Germany, especially one that is not supposed to be there. Questions may lead to Carrie being "found". Which begs the question, why he did not attach an anchor or an anvil to himself when he was intent on drowning?

Oh - I thought those were just those bollards that ships throw ropes around - but the cable ties were so little - how would they have got around the concrete blocks?

Did any of you watch London Spy? You should, it was amazing. No hot beardy docs, or Zaf, few (none?) redheads, but there was spying, some jogging, tidiness, and someone who is beautiful but maybe a meanie would say he could tend to the weaselly.

The cucumber count remains at zero, but there were LOADS of sex toys to make up for it.

If I'm making it sound schlocky, it really wasn't. Great cast, beautifully shot, compelling story - it's shaping up to be most excellent.
