I don't remember Astrid from previous series? Also, why do we think that the files are about/important to Carrie? I thought they were evidence of spying? Does this mean that Carrie IS still cia and she was the spy while claiming to work for the mysterious disappearing boss?

I think Carrie is a target because Hair wrongly thinks Carrie was involved in the theft of info or has at least seen what is in the downloaded files. Everyone knows Carrie is unpredictable and would use them if she needed to. I think her death is just damage limitation. I cant see it being anything to do with Brody. (But we can dream ) No idea how Carrie got hold of the blackjacks. Perhaps she broke into his office and liberated one from his drawer.

Astrid was in the last season. When Quinn was building the bomb to kill Haqaani he hid out at astrid's place.

Is Israeli saviour man the bloke Astrid was with in the bar when Quinn went to ask her for supplies? Could Jonas (I totally thought he was going to 'off' Quinn) have contacted Astrid knowing she was in on Carrie being alive after Carrie phoning her. Maybe she's sent Quinn a guardian angel?! Hopeful here. Surely they're not going to kill Quinn off? But I did love the idea that he was trying to get rid of himself to save Carrie. Not that she deserves it! Or maybe he's going to wake up in an unfriendly place?
