They're not going to let Quinn die a horrible death by a garbage bin. Kindly random religious bloke will have some uncanny understanding of the evils of hospitals and will also know how to fix gunshot wounds. But the main thing is that Quinn has proved he loves Carrie more than Jonas (is that his name?) ever will.

Also - were we meant to know what "Blackjack" meant? Has it come up before?

I was a bit disappointed that when Quinn was feeling along the table it was a gun in the case and not a cucumber.
It would have lightened the mood.

Black jack harks waaaay back to season 1. When saul had an offie at langley he used to have a blackjack habit and kept a stash in his drawer. There was a scene where he called his assistant because he had run out of black jacks and she replenished his stock. I have a niggly feeling that carrie may also at one point have brought him some just as a wee gift.
