Here - scroll down a bit.

There's Quinn. There's Saul. There's the old bag-over-the-head routine. It's in Berlin. I am ridiculously excited.

OP posts:

As said last series, What the fucking fuck?

Carrie off her meds and all she comes up with is "Take me to a church, I need to confess"? So much for lucidity. She was really nasty to MayBeABaddie Jonas, justifying & increasing my dislike for her at the same time.

Saul? WTFF?

GypsyFl0ss · 26/10/2015 06:49

Did Saul shag her???

Duckdeamon · 26/10/2015 08:12

Not watched yet but like the idea of caffiene snorting, wonder if can start a new trend at work?

But perhaps carrie isn't the kind of professional image I should cultivate!

EmNetta · 26/10/2015 10:07

Just occurred to me: If message to Quinn was actually from Saul, I'd have expected him to take photo of the "body" as last occasion, otherwise I don't really know what's going on...

ThursdayLastWeek · 26/10/2015 11:42

I don't think Quinn killed Carrie then...but obviously how would I know?

I think it's just my faith in their connection, the script does seem to have gone out of its way to show us how hardened Quinn is these days.

I was half expecting it to be Quinn in bed with Eowyn, I'm a bit creeped out by that scene. There's got to be more to it than an actual relationship surely?

GypsyFl0ss · 26/10/2015 11:42

Just catching up. Saul and the irritating red head? Huh?

Fiderer · 26/10/2015 11:48

Saul & Eowyn is the singularly most shocking thing I've ever seen on Homeland.

SurlyCue · 26/10/2015 12:12

CARRIE ISNT DEAD! Grin if carrie dies the show is dead!

Yes there is more to Saul and redhead than a relationship. He is keeping gaining her trust so she will keep him in the loop wrt carrie. He needs to know what redhead knows and is planning for carrie so he can keep carrie safe.

GypsyFl0ss · 26/10/2015 18:31

...or kill her himself.

SurlyCue · 26/10/2015 19:10

Noooooo!

Saul is good.

Lweji · 26/10/2015 20:26

On a second look yesterday, I felt that Quinn had a bit of an amused air about looking for Carrie. Maybe it was the last drop?

SurlyCue · 26/10/2015 20:31

He did, didnt he lewji. Quinn doesnt ever usually do breezy "they'll find you by dinner time" sort of stuff does he?

What do you mean by last drop? Last name in the box? Do you mean Quinn might be opting out of the arrangement?

Lweji · 26/10/2015 20:36

It's one thing asking to kill clear enemies, but not former colleagues. Who knows?

He might have seen the non-Saul message dropper.

Or the full message might have not been to kill her.

Oh, the possibilities. (and I have to wait till Thursday...)

Howaboutthisone · 26/10/2015 22:17

I totally thought Carrie had killed Quinn for a minute there!
Carrie's not dead. She can't be! I'm just wondering who he's taking her to and why? Dar did say about losing their balls but now having a green light when he was talking to Saul. I think Carrie was the ball they'd lost and Quinn had been in contact to say that he'd relocated her so they could go ahead with whichever plan they have on.

Lweji · 26/10/2015 22:21

I'm pretty sure it's about government not having balls to go and replace the Syrian president. Which Saul told the Israeli ambassador they were not going to do, IIRC.
Another recipe for disaster. And one for Carrie to sort out?

Duckdeamon · 27/10/2015 06:34

Carrie won't be dead. Quinn wouldn't kill her (apparently she would kill him though!)

Lweji · 27/10/2015 06:43

I don't think she knew it was him, but I'd kill anyone who was trying to kill me.

NashvilleQueen · 27/10/2015 08:39

How many times over the various seasons have we seen Carrie standing in her bra or in the throes of shagging someone? Yet Saul gets to keep his tshirt on in bed and we are spared the image of him and nasty red haired woman getting it on.

Fiderer · 27/10/2015 09:07

Thankfully spared, it was bad enough as it was.

She is nasty. I'd rather see more of Astrid (also flirting with Quinn) and Tasmeen from last series. She was nasty too, but in a good proper evil baddie way.

Oh and Zaf.

SurlyCue · 27/10/2015 09:42

Yes i dont think carrie would have killed quinn knowingly. BUT she was off her meds, paranoid, scared and has form for trying to kill Saul last season. I think carrie is a "needs must" kinda gal. If she thinks it needs done, she'll do it. How many times did she change her mind about Brodie and think he was duping her? She pointed a gun at him a fair few times.

AtiaoftheJulii · 27/10/2015 10:11

Seemed horribly cheesy in the best maverick-tv-detective style for Carrie to say "I need to stop my meds to work this out". When I saw afterwards that the episode was called "Super Powers" I groaned even more.

However, Quinn's "motherfucker" made up for everything Grin

Lweji · 27/10/2015 10:15

The thing is she didn't actually work out who ordered her death and on top of it she was ambushed by Quinn.

I don't think she was off her meds, then, though. She did take the pill Jonas gave her and she seemed ok then, just obviously freaked out when she realised (correctly) that they had located her.

SurlyCue · 27/10/2015 10:26

Yes she took the pill from jonas but she was also out in the woods until after dark and i know she has an AM/PM pill box so would have missed her PM pill at least and i'm guessing having been off the meds for several days she wouldnt have been completely stabilised again after just one pill. Doesnt it take time for the effects to get back to normal?

Lweji · 27/10/2015 10:31

No idea.
She didn't seem so manic, though.

Fiderer · 27/10/2015 10:32

When she went off her meds to figure out Abu Nazir she used a timeline. When Saul came to stay with her and picked up all the colour-coded sheets and pinned them up, there wasn't any new information.

Iirc there were fewer yellow ones and she then deduced it was because he's been in mourning. Eh? He could have had gallstones or root canal (or "woot canaw" as CJ would say) - or just off plotting something else for a bit.

Anyone else notice Saul querying the targetting of civilians while questioning Düring about the missing "Drone Queen"?
