Yes, shocking! I haven't revised all of episodes 2 and 3 in the light of the Saul development, but it doesn't make any sense to me

I thought saul was dodgy in either series 2 or 3. i can't remember why now though.

Not sure. She did shoot him. I wonder if he's wounded. The wsj guy said with that riffle would have easily pierced that body armour.

On the other hand, if he applied the strangulation properly, he only had to wait until she passed out from lack of oxygen to her brain. It doesn't kill unless he kept it up for a lot longer.

Saul failed a lie detector test, I think in series 1. I've always thought that he was a bit dodgy.

Of course she is alive. The season is pointless if she dies!

The syringe was just to keep her out until he gets her somewhere safe to tell her that she is in a kill list and formulate a plan. Quinn is good.

Saul is keeping his enemies (very) close. He is using redhead lady to keep carrie safe. He needs to know what redhead knows. Saul is good.

On another note, I suspect the Russian agent was the one who put Carrie on the hit list. He sort of looks like the guy who went there. And might make more sense than Saul.

The caffeine snorting (rather than just taking a tablet) i dont understand. Was it just to demonstrate that she was already going a wee bit extreme since going off the meds?

Can't bear to wait another week but have to believe that Quinn is a goodie and is trying to rescue Carrie. I would love it if Saul was in on it - wanted to save her - but maybe he doesn't know and will have to choose down the line.
