Maybe she gets stuck in a lot of traffic jams and had finished her audio book, Nickel?

KellyHb · 13/07/2015 20:49

Thanks pix & nickel. Catching up on ff. Love greenstuff's new one.

Talking of ff, a few reviews that people left for my CJ & Molly cameo scene one shot, said that they hoped TG would take note of the story. Not that I love myself but I was hoping he might have read and maybe favourited it if he liked the idea? Ice do you think TG reads his tweets?

icemistOBE · 13/07/2015 21:03

Yes he does read tweets and does like them too. I don't think he reads the FF though, I'm sure I've read that somewhere.

pixieg1rl · 13/07/2015 21:13

I think he said he didn't read ff in the Facebook chat he did Kelly, he said he had 'his' version of them and didn't want to be swayed by others.

KellyHb · 13/07/2015 21:13

Yeah. I thought if I'd send him the link, it would be there for him to read. Well I'm sure he knows that people would love a little bit more of our couple. See what happens next year. Hopefully he'll have some tricks up his sleeve. Hmm

Richtea19 · 13/07/2015 21:42

good news for your mum kelly.

I've had a funny eve. All afternoon one of our cats has been up and down the curtains, driving me mad. Earlier he had bought a bird in, feathers everywhere having cleaned up he has been still obsessed with the curtains. Because he was doing my head in I took the curtains down to stop him from climbing them, and inside one of the tab tops (which are now all clawed and fraying) was a little mouse!!! I felt like Born Free when I let him go!

KellyHb · 13/07/2015 21:52

Thanks rich. How cute is that mouse? Although I'd probably be running around screaming at the sight. Smile

Our family cats used to bring in lots of birds and mice in all stages of decay.

Ilovelblue · 13/07/2015 22:07

Itake it you're not scared of mice then Richtea?

My two cats are forever bringing mice in - one of them has an ASBO!! Last year they thought it was entertaining to bring them and drop them in my bedroom in the middle of the night but fingers crossed, they haven't been quite so bad this year so far. I'm not scared at all fortunately but it did give me a fright once last summer when some compost seemed to have been disturbed in a plant pot on the front window and when I made to pat it back in place, a mouse jumped out! How it got there, I have no idea, though I would guess the cats had something to do with it.

moojangles · 13/07/2015 22:12

free to a good home, or any home, one bell end of a DH!!! Seriously doing my nut in!

Good news about your mum kelly

pixieg1rl · 13/07/2015 22:17

If he's flexible about covering childcare I'll have him mooj. I'm in a state of panic about how to juggle work, school, & holidays from September. The only way seems to be if I have no life beyond work & childcare.

KellyHb · 13/07/2015 22:19

Thanks mooj

Ilovelblue · 13/07/2015 22:22

Go on mooj - what's he done? Is he still on holiday or back working again after his tour?

moojangles · 13/07/2015 22:24

He is flexible!!! Sadly tonight also emotionally stuck at about 13.... Always slightly in awe of working Mums, I struggle at times & I only have DH to deal with

Richtea19 · 13/07/2015 22:26

Not afraid of mice at all. They are always being brought in, I don't like the birds when their still alive as buggers to catch!

mooj I never rely on DH then he can never me let down!

I've just booked some football sessions up for younger DS for the holidays but still a panic what he can do when I'm at work, although a lay in and Xbox for the day is what I'm sure will happen .

pixieg1rl · 13/07/2015 22:28

I honestly don't know how I'm going to make it work mooj. I know others do, so I'm assuming I'll find a way.

moojangles · 13/07/2015 22:28

He's been back at work ages ilove and it has been going well. Had a 'force development' trip this weekend, euphemism for lads weekend & the poor baby is tired, which means he behaves like a stroppy teenager/ total dcik!!!

moojangles · 13/07/2015 22:32

Guess I'm the only one looking forward to summer hols!
Seriously don't know how you do it but where there's a Mum there's usually a way and a superhuman mum

apsara03 · 13/07/2015 22:50

Hi pixie , cleaning doesn't always happen, Sausage and mash is a good meal, proper tidying only gets done during school hols - the house is a disaster zone at the mo and we have a child minder who is amazing, does term time only without charging a holiday retainer ( though they usually go for day or two in summer / they miss her and her kids and we've got planning to do.) you sort all the activities etc, one thing changes and it's back to the drawing board but you muddle through and it generally works out better than you thought Smile I remember a friends child thinking she worked in a toy factory as she said she worked so they could have toys (she's in the police) p

orphan · 13/07/2015 22:57

Evening all.

Wow, greenstuff is the nuts when it comes to ff. I'm so grateful for her prolific output and I'm already totally gripped by her new story.

Great news about your mum kelly. By the way, I'm now imagining you as an octogenarian with a very deceptively young sounding voice and incredible child bearing abilities.

As for teens, I'm trying not to let myself imagine all the things my ds will get up to whilst we're on hol. He's opted to stay at home, then he's off to Spain with his mates. Dreading what state he'll leave the house in for us to arrive back to. When's your darling off to Spain woof?

SoEverybodyDance · 13/07/2015 23:17

Ha ha... just popped in and noticed your offer Moojangles. Can I send mine along to keep him company?

Glad to hear about your mum Kelly, be nice if you heard from TG too.

Ilove think I might have overdone it on the courgettes, we're getting about four every day now! Can't keep up...

KellyHb · 13/07/2015 23:40

Funnily enough orph do feel about 80 odd right now. Feet sore after ironing however yes my child bearing abilities are second to none. If CJ were to have a go, I could maybe pop out quadruplets!!

Yes dance a reply from TG would be good but slim chance now.

Alwaysfrank · 14/07/2015 08:04

Lovely picture of your children, Kelly. Takes me back a few years! My ID twins are 11 now, and tbh I don't see much evidence of a special bond - or any bond at all, most days. I really hope it changes but someone I know has ID twin siblings in their 50s who still behave like mine which is a worry! My two are going to different schools in September which I hope will be the making of them. They are far trickier than my teenagers. Like Woof we have 18, 15 and 11 in this house!

Pixie - your line about your nan's funeral made me smile but incredibly sad at the same time. For the first time my boys are going to have friends who only know them and it will be a surprise when they meet the other one!

Kelly - glad your mum's treatment is going well, really encouraging news.

cjwoofwoof · 14/07/2015 09:09

Morning! Glad your mums doing well kel and mooj anyone who wears low slung combats and barks out orders for work can't be THAT bad, surely? You might gonna need to let me study him for a few days for research purposes, then I'll report back with my findings. If he's already fought the Taliban then Woof Manor will be a doddle for him Grin

Good luck with DS house sitting orph hope you've got criminal damage and vandalism cover in your house insurance. My DS has been and returned from his lads holiday last week. The joys of Facebook and Instagram mean my younger DSs have been able to blackmail him into all sorts of favours otherwise they'll snitch to Mum etc so he's been quite tame since his return. Although some of the quietness is down to alcohol detox I think Hmm

KellyHb · 14/07/2015 09:49

Thanks always & woof

I suppose always that's true as well. Just because you're a twin, it doesn't mean you have to be close. Yes separate schools might help with that.

Just made coffee forgetting to boil the water first-doh! Off out to gym in a minute. Haven't been for days so its going to be painful! Confused

icemistOBE · 14/07/2015 10:06

Sat down to post on here, littlest in kitchen with me. He's just put the kettle on! i have my hands full with him!
