Third time lucky ice?

Ilovelblue · 11/07/2015 22:48

This made me smile before. It popped up on my Facebook page. If you look towards the bottom, it says "Reinventing the slipper". Why would that make me think of BA? Haha.

Wrapping birthday presents while DH is blowing up balloons but if I lose the end of this cellotape one more time, I swear to God!!! Angry

Richtea19 · 11/07/2015 22:59

nickel I'm hoping by now you have had one and on to the next. Kids really do drive you to drink.

I've had one of those days where you drink too quickly, get drunk, sober up before the day is over. It's the only way to cope when is a In Law Family Function. I fell asleep when we got home and now I'm wide awake.

jen I really like the MK Lipsy dress, it would have to be Spanx from neck to cankles to look any good on me!

Very excited at the thought of AT in an Agatha Christie, it's another cruel reminder that BA is with the wrong agency.

KellyHb · 11/07/2015 23:05

We'll get his autograph somehow ice between your letters and hopefully my GIConfused

Yes definitely think BA is with wrong agency. Forget all this theatre lark. I could totally imagine him in an Agatha Christie drama.

cjwoofwoof · 11/07/2015 23:13

By the looks of it there's several of us on here who have had a shit night tonight, one way or another... Grin

moojangles · 12/07/2015 09:15

Morning all! About to embark on a markingathon, yay!
nickel hope you have a better day today!
Just got back from walking the dog, some very vocal QS going on in one house-think they forgot the windows were openBlush

Rhubarb01 · 12/07/2015 09:15

Morning! Happy Birthday to your twins Kelly. My elder DD used to love my twins' birthdays until they got old enough to open their own presents and wouldn't let her do that anymore! And as my Mum and Sister always say to me - happy birthday to you as well because you had something to do with the day and it's an anniversary for you as well.

Yes, definitely like the idea of AT doing Agatha Christie (slicked back hair and no stubble though). I don't know what he's going to be in but the BBC are doing three stories with Tommy and Tuppence Beresford (David Walliams as Tommy!!). Hopefully they'll stick to the story and plot and not do an ITV on us and completely change it and the endings! ITV are very good and faithful with Poirot (excellent in my opinion - David Suchet is the best) but dreadful with Miss Marple stories. Anyway could definitely see BA playing the handsome hero. He likes a bit of period costume.

I told my DH about the successful toileting evenings mentioned on here and he had to comment that it's a shame we still have to tell an 11 year old to flush the toilet!! Hope yours all learn that quicker than mine. Boys eh!

moojangles · 12/07/2015 09:22

Still not feeling the love for AT

KellyHb · 12/07/2015 09:32

Morning. Thanks rhu Yes its chaos central here today. Had tears from DD that the boys wouldn't let her play with their presents! I told her they'll let her play with them later. She's not happy. I did buy her a couple of things so she didn't feel left out but I suppose kids think toys are always more interesting than clothes.

Boys are out on their new scooters in a bit. See how we manage with all 3 being upwardly mobile Confused. Sunny day so we'll be full of busy. Have a nice day everyone. Smile

orphan · 12/07/2015 10:19

David Walliams as Tommy rhubarb?? No, no, no. As a teen I loved Agatha Christie and he is def not how I imagined Tommy.

Have a great day and happy birthday to your twins kelly. And hope your day goes better than yesterday nickel.

Of course, it's a busy day for me. Just had a call from Rog asking for a pre match warm up but I'd already promised that I'd help Djokovic loosen up. Would it be unethical to do them both? I wouldn't want to contravene any Wimbledon rules, though my Athena poster inspired kit seemed to raise a few eyebrows.

cjwoofwoof · 12/07/2015 10:27

It doesn't usually worry you how many you can cram into your muff without being arrested spotted, orph and as long as you tell security "I'm here to help Roger/Djokovic" I can't see you have trouble from the All England Club

orphan · 12/07/2015 10:59

Such a pity you're banned from getting within 5 miles of Wimbledon woof. I still think they made a fuss over nothing. Your little mishap during your stint as the world's oldest ball girl should be forgiven and forgotten. I mean Tim Henman's managed to recover from it hasn't he?

orphan · 12/07/2015 11:01

Although Nadal's game has never been quite the same...

cjwoofwoof · 12/07/2015 11:18

Indeed orph I don't think it was the male seeds that had the problem, it was the fact that my big arse blocked the hi tec tv camera angles and I performed too many dropshots in full view of the Royal Box for the All England Club's liking.

icemistOBE · 12/07/2015 11:39

Hope your boys have a lovely day kelly

Yep woof and your over enthusiastic interpretation of 'new balls please' was rather worrisome.

Ep 2 is my face I think ice.

orphan · 12/07/2015 12:11

Oops 'fave' I meant.

cjwoofwoof · 12/07/2015 12:14

But thanks to the extra loose knicker elastic my extensive derriere necessitated orph I had plenty of room to store a wide selection of said balls, a few of them all at the same time too, much to the delight of a few umpires during those troublesome McEnroe days...

moojangles · 12/07/2015 12:23

Are you the readon Ivan Lendl never smiled or won?

moojangles · 12/07/2015 12:27

cjwoofwoof · 12/07/2015 12:53

Woo hoo well done mooj now a nice long summer to look forward to!

No the reason Lendl never smiled was because I wouldn't hold his balls when Bjorn Borg was serving me some aces during the final of '79
