Corrie Thread - Bet Emily is relieved there is one less child for her 24 hour creche

With Miley gone, never to be heard of for the next 15 years until she turns up with a new head, at least Emily won't have to babysit her every day and night for the foreseeable future.

New thread where we can hope the scriptwriters wake up and actually start paying attention to plot lines and character histories.

I think it's time to let Simon go off on a long holiday and come back as someone else, preferably someone who can actually act. I know he's only young but he spoils any scenes he's in.

I think the issue is is usually children have disappeared and come back with a new head before they start doing any proper scenes(other than occasional lines) whereas with simon he is still the same one.

I loved the scenes last night with Liz and Tony. Both actors are great and they have fab chemistry. I know he messed up, but I hope they get back together.

Didn't like them,sorry. Sometimes less is more. I don't think Corrie does the screeching/slapping scenes well, they become a bit cringey.

Aww. maybe the problem with Simon is that his voice has just broken, so it sounds abit forced. When he settles he might become his own again. He is only young, and it is the script writters who are giving him these scowling story lines. If he had a bit if a more lighter part then opinions might changed.

I was cringing for Gail tonight.

I've hated seeing her beg for Michael's forgiveness this past month or so.

What's Eileen done to deserve boring Michael? I wish Mark Moraghan/Greg Shadwick would come back.

Sarah Harding was hopeless tonight, but then I suppose it is her first episode.

Surely the Corrie bosses can see how bad his acting is. He's had a good run now and never proved himself, time to give someone else a chance, someone who can act that is.
Yes Gail has got a lovely figure, I'd love to wear dresses like that.

Yes, I think that they should bring back Mark Moraghan too. Liked him in Brookie and thought he was a bit good for Eileen.... Although probably too normal for Gail!!

I don't agree with someone like Sarah Harding getting a part in Corrie. She's not an actress (and it showed) but she's had her glory in Girls aloud. There are so many brilliant actresses straight out of drama school more deserving of a part in Corrie. It's like the part has been created for her, just so they can get her on it. The story is just unbelievable and not credible.

Still need to catch up on last nights but yy to Mark Moraghan he was great in it - like Eileen would go from messing up with him to Michael

And as for Sarah Harding......well........I have never seen such a woeful attempt at acting before. And I've seen Sunset Beach.

You could actually see her nerves couldn't you? All her facial expressions were too obvious.

When she walked down the street I half expected her to quickly turn around, point and do her impression of a sexy wink at the camera. Talk about a massive ego trip for her.

I think she had been to the Denise van Outen school of acting.

Also...the actor that plays Norris. You could see him thinking ' there's been a big deal made about this actress, but I realllly don't know who the eck she is. Is she even real? Looks like she's made of a mixture of wax and foundation to me'

She needs to ease up on the fillers and botox and drugs. it's very ageing.l

Sean giving fashion advice to Eileen makes me cringe. He wears some really strange looking garments at times. (I know little or nothing about fashion, but even so... )

If it was over the guy Eileen had briefly, recently, I could understand, but Michael is a bore, and a whinge bag.
