CJ keeping me very busy, but beyond fabulous updates jen, lola, whajeb, pixie and anyone I've missed (apologies!).

Unfortunately RL keeping me a bit too busy too, but took a detour on the way home yesterday through Farnham and Aldershot looking for uniforms, but only saw veterans. Mind, it wasn't as far out of the way as the detour DH took on the way down ... went the wrong way on joining the M3 (my fault, obviously, for telling him to join the M3 before the junction ... apparently should have done it once we were coming up to the right turning on the roundabout ... no matter that we have done the same journey loads of times before and were heading south rather than for London!!!!! 45 minutes later, finally back on the right route, lots of tongue biting going on, but mostly managed to reign in the sarcasm!).

cjwoofwoof · 28/06/2015 20:24

Hmm Rhu another one with the aura of dear Oliver Tobias. Ditto - Quite happy to see him in low slung combats or at the wrestling Wink

Jen that chapter was f*ing awesome...literally. Well done on such minutae of anatomical descriptions, I very much enjoyed such attention to detail. Just finished drooling at the thought of CJ in such a situation under my Triton sadly not enough spray coverage for both him AND me under there so will settle for just ogling

Idly googled Christian Cooke and apparently he was considered for 50 shades. He is rather lovely and dp didn't agree with me on the Freddie Mercury front but from certain angles he def has a slight overbite however I don't think that's what I'd be focusing on in the naked wrestling

Yes, Christian was the main character Stewart. I think he's English really but the accent seemed good to me. Best ask Jen if it was good enough. I know what you mean Orph about the slight Freddie Mercury look but not enough to seriously put me off. He's got a nice intense stare.

Going to try watching that new BBC2 drama Odyssey tonight with Anna Friel (have also been watching her in The Saboteurs too - interesting drama although not the best thing I've ever seen) as well as needing to watch Black Work on catch up. Golly, I've even read two books in the last week - factual tales (GI Brides and The Girls who went to war) bit of a historical theme going on with me but I really like real life accounts. They are by the same two authors and are very readable.

orphan · 28/06/2015 20:31

Ok, i submit. I can't wait out any longer. I'm going to read jen's now...

jen I'm very hot and bothered now and you've ruined showers and hangovers for me. I think I'm going to feel really cheated if BA does sign up for series 2, cos somehow I don't think we'll be treated to a shower scene and it certainly wouldn't be like yours. Perhaps the best we can hope for is if he does an ad for a shower gel...

orphan · 28/06/2015 20:54

kelly how's your sulk today? I'm feeling quite fond of mine now and am loathe to let it go. Grin

Ilovelblue · 28/06/2015 20:56

Tell you what ladies, don't think my shower could see that sort of action, even if CJ turned up without the bathroom flooding! Quite a small bathroom unfortunately. Could do the expensive shower gel (don't buy it myself, rely on presents) but that's just about where the similarity ends sadly.

Brilliant chapter though jen. Every time I think "Wow, that's her best yet", you then surpass yourself in the next!

pixieg1rl · 28/06/2015 21:12

I have a wet room (amongst other wet things after reading jen's update) so plenty of room for all sorts of shenanigans Wink.

I love those real life books rhu. There's a really geeky part of me that wants to spend a couple of years months in the mass observation archives.

orphan · 28/06/2015 21:13

lola please keep going. Who cares about a plan when the journey's this good?! Smile

Have you a particular shower gel in mind jen? It reminds me of way back when I had an orgasmic moment in Boots sniffing Hugo Boss colognes and sighing 'Boss man' to myself.

orphan · 28/06/2015 21:14

Ooh pixie you could fit the whole naked wrestling team in then?

pixieg1rl · 28/06/2015 21:27

Maybe 3 orphan. That's most eventualities covered I think...

Nickel45 · 28/06/2015 21:57

rhu what did you think of the program with Anna Friel in it? I just couldn't get into it and stopped watching, but have recorded it, just in case. Is it worth sticking with it? (her accent put me off a bit too!!)

Onlygirljen · 28/06/2015 22:44

I'd love a wet room, that's one of my ultimate goals in life.

Thanks ladies for the comments on the ff. orph there was a particular Jo Malone one I had in mind, but Hugo boss is a very nice alternative, I do like a good sniff at the men's counter from time to time Grin

Richtea19 · 28/06/2015 22:49

We had a wet room in an old flat, I couldn't get into it, maybe it wasn't big enough, but everything got soggy!!

I love a good sniff at men's fragrance, currently love a bit of Tom Ford!

Richtea19 · 28/06/2015 22:50

I've just watched the first two episodes of Black Watch with Sheridan Smith. She is such a good actress, and even pull off the most unattractive hair style. I have the Anna Friel one recording .

orphan · 28/06/2015 22:51

Ooh which Jo Malone one jen? I'm a fan of the classic lime, basil and mandarin. I had a lovely hand massage, champagne and chocs at one of their invite events and succumbed to a few purchases.

orphan · 28/06/2015 22:55

Hope you don't mean you literally couldn't get into the wet room rich! Unlike poor woof who had to be rescued from a Travelodge shower cubicle when she got wedged bending down to pick up the soap...

cjwoofwoof · 28/06/2015 22:58

Nick I watched the Anna Friel Odyssey programme. Trying to be Homeland type story but a bit obvious in the plot stakes and lacking in any Rupert type totty. Anna's got a weird American accent and there's a lot of Arabic shouting. In view of recent events I'm wondering if I need to be reminded of the Middle East problems in my Sunday night viewing as well. Not sure I'll be hanging in for all 13 episodes.

cjwoofwoof · 28/06/2015 23:07

Yet again you are being f*ing economical with the truth orph - that Travel Lodge shower incident occurred when I was bending down to administer first aid to poor dear Ian after he'd trapped his todger in the shower screen hinge and everything had concertina'd up painfully. The poor man's tinkler has remained dog-leg shaped to this day because I took too long.

orphan · 28/06/2015 23:15

Hmm, woof but I question whether it really needed 6 firemen to extricate you and dear Ian and was it absolutely necessary for them to remove all their uniform apart from their helmets?

orphan · 28/06/2015 23:20

And didn't one of them suffer a serious injury when he slipped on your discarded merkin?

cjwoofwoof · 28/06/2015 23:29

Of course the Health & Safety in Travel Lodge Showers 1984 legislation dictates that once on your knees in the shower only a full Blue Watch of butt naked 6'4" firemen can pull you out. Big helmets are a necessity if the Method Statement is to be followed to the letter, due to slippage and the over abundance of fluids in the very wet room. And I'm a stickler for that kind of law.
