There may even be an alka seltzer pix

orphan · 28/06/2015 12:11

No butter plugs then jen?

Yes rhubarb just one of woof's castoff merkins made wigs for eight needy dogs at Battersea Dogs Home.

Richtea19 · 28/06/2015 13:18

Thanks so much for all the kindle advise. I'm out clothes shopping with DH and little DS, not an enjoyable process!

Jen planting of bumping and grinding, please!!!

orphan every time I say or hear even with a limp, I just smile. Love, love that cute vulnerable face on CJ! Can't believe there's still no announcement for cast of OG, maybe HH are trying to negotiate a "big package" for him!

icemistOBE · 28/06/2015 13:24

Afternoon. Had a lazy morning. So just catching up now

Woah! there orphan methinks you're being somewhat fucking economical with the truth there. Those needy dogs from Battersea were extremely grateful for my second-hand merkins - just take a look at the before and after pics of Rex who immediately found a home once the merkin was in situ.

And I think we all know there's more than enough trimmings to spare of your overgrown ladygarden to cover a few alopecia'd retrievers.

Re: Tom Hardy, top totty indeed. Spotted him a few years back as Heathcliff acting alongside Poldark's wig in Wuthering Heights (think he's married to the girl who played Cathy at that time). Ditto to light shadows though - sometimes he looks totally hot and others he looks a bit pastry-faced and cushion-lipped. Well worthy of a round of wrestling though.

Richtea19 · 28/06/2015 17:20

Ok, feel very late to the kindle/FF party, but ive done rhubarbs setting instruction, but how do I get the FF on the kindle? Do I search on kindle or from the iPad transfer? So confused, too early for wine????

Onlygirljen · 28/06/2015 17:22

onefor i just realised I have got into a Sunday night habit! Just call me Tony! Wink yeah, will post it when I can wrestle eldest off the laptop and minecraft Hmm wouldn't go so far as to say treat though!

Onlygirljen · 28/06/2015 17:27

rich never too early for wine

Oneforthegirls · 28/06/2015 17:52

Only are you kidding me. Sharing Molly's experience tonight will be such a treat.
Re the alka seltza. Told some friends about it y'day and they all looked at me blankly. One of them said, " do you put it in a bowl of water and sit in it!!!"

icemistOBE · 28/06/2015 18:29

Loved the new chapter Jen now I need a shower to cool down Grin

Just back from a day out with a friend who I used to work with and who left a couple of years ago. We went to Tatton Park near Knutsford. To amuse myself on the M6 going down, I was counting the number of grey Audi A4s on the road (as per our postings on Friday). Gave up after about 20 - none of the drivers resembled CJ in the least. When I got into Knutsford, a car dealership had changed hands. I think it had been Aston Martin or something of that calibre but I noticed it was now McLaren. I thought they only did F1 racing cars - didn't realise they did ones you could drive on ordinary roads! I kept smirking to myself as I was thinking of Kelly's story where CJ designs such cars.

Richtea19 · 28/06/2015 18:52

jen brilliant new chapter, I really need a cold shower, what a great treat for Sunday eve. Meant to be cooking dinner, I think I've ruined the gravy!

pixieg1rl · 28/06/2015 19:08

Enjoying Lionel at Glaso. Currently playing woof's theme, Brick House

cjwoofwoof · 28/06/2015 19:19

Ah yes pix dear Lionel wrote that for me back in '77 after my gold medal parallel bars routine when I enveloped the first two rows of the audience that included The Commodores roadies with my finishing straddle. I believe orphan was disqualified for an illegal leotard that year. Lycra peek-a-boo Thongs were never meant for the parallel beam unfortunately, but to be fair she had just come straight from the night shift at the pole dancing club next door.

orphan · 28/06/2015 19:28

Ooh jen's latest sounds as if it's QS indeed. I'm saving it til a bit later - delayed satisfaction etc.

woof I hate to brag but my ladygarden trimmings are in fact a major component of the bearskins worn by the Horse Guards. The lush glossiness can be admired in the attached pic.

Onlygirljen · 28/06/2015 19:31

Thanks ladies. I'm off to lie in a darkened room with a huge glass of wine to enjoy all the updates I've missed this weekend.

Sorry about the gravy rich - I'm a bit worried that you ladies are putting smut before food. whaj burnt her bacon earlier as well!

cjwoofwoof · 28/06/2015 19:34

did you fit them for the bearskins in the same way as my ol' mum used to give my brother a haircut orph ? ie. basin/bum on head then cut round?

orphan · 28/06/2015 19:34

You might notice the guards' eyes are somewhat distracted by something. They were in fact standing to attention whilst my annual shearing was taking place. This takes place of course behind Buck Palace and Prince Harry wields the shears.

orphan · 28/06/2015 19:37

Were you secretly watching the fitting woof?

cjwoofwoof · 28/06/2015 19:44

No, I was probably back at barracks getting the next platoon dressed ready orph . They usually need plenty of help with all those buttons

cjwoofwoof · 28/06/2015 19:46

I'm not surprised to see that none of them are smiling though. Probably quite an ordeal even for a hardened soldier thanks to my prep work

Rhubarb01 · 28/06/2015 20:04

I've just been watching Stonemouth on iplayer and would like to put forward an actor by the name of Christian Cooke for casting in OG2 or even for the naked fireside wrestling. Enjoyed the Scottish seaside scenery too!

orphan · 28/06/2015 20:17

Oh I watched that rhubarb. I'm an Ian Banks fan and met him at a book signing but would rather it had been CJ and he was lovely. Very sad that he died so early.

Was Christian the main character? If so, I liked him but at times he reminded me of Freddie Mercury.
