I wonder what 2 section'll make of MK when they first meet her in R/L. I suppose they'll fancy her rotten. I wonder what BA will think. I don't know why but I just cant imagine the two of them even having a chat?

Thanks ilove. I now have the fear because I haven't written the next chapter. Between my in laws staying all week and DS behaving like a little gobshite writing a romantic story has been the farthest thing from my mind.

I'm trying to write my next chapter but brain is definitely not working tonight. Am so tired. Was up half the night with DS coughing. Ill give it up and watch GN show on catch up instead.

Morning! Just caught up on the ff and my, what fab chapters from pixie and whajeb. I feel so invested in both stories though it's causing me some emotional whiplash as I went from a loved up couple in Nyota to the still fragile relationship in Invincible.

Cat update: no fracture, just pulled muscle probably and no need for overnight stay. £360 for the xrays, and thanks to onefor it felt like a bargain!

Officers vs Squaddies survey didn't go well. There were numerous military out and about and vehicles on display, but it was more Dad's Army lookalikes than CJ and two section. I confessed to dp I was on the lookout for a CJ type and he did help me in my futile search. He's well trained.

Went to see Mad Max last night and think Tom Hardy would be an interesting, rough edged Bond. He's an odd one, cos sometimes he's absolutely gorgeous and then at others just a bit stocky and roundfaced.

Phew glad the vet bill wasn't too bad, it's always a scary moment at the counter!

DH back late last from working, this morning I asked him what he did, (bad wife!) he was in Guildford packing up an event for Armed Forces Day!! Dam and blast, why didn't I pay more attention when he told me what he was doing. I could of gone to oversea the job.

I haven't had a chance with FF yet, but I bought a Kindle yesterday so I need to find rhubarbs instructions.

Oh yes, massive Tom Hardy fan in our house, even DH and the boys. My niece works for Elite Model Agency, not as a model! But a Booker. A lot of actors do modelling too,mi have already asked about BA, obs!! But must ask about some of our other wrestling contestants!

Like you, I went stalking squaddies a little while ago. I was working in Aldershot for a couple of days and found myself driving up and down and round and round just to see if I could spot any talent. Sadly, the best I got was a rather tubby one on a bike showing of a not so nice bum crack. No decent sighting for two days. They can't all be on duty at 5pm so where the hell were they.

Rich you also need to log in to your amazon account and under 'Manage your content and Devices' go to the 'settings' tab and check firstly that under 'Personal Document Archiving' it is set to Enabled and then under 'Approved Personal Document E Mail List' you have added [email protected] as an approved email address to send documents or it won't send the file. Funnily enough I was only on there this morning working out how to send Word documents direct to my Kindle. I know I am late to the party with all this technology but I can list these little achievements as things OG has done for me!

rhubarb did you manage to work out the bookmark thingy? I clicked the link etc, but it didn't seem to work. I couldn't see on the ff website where the supposed bookmark 'button' was. I really am technology challenged.

Yes Orphan I remember something similar happening with one of my cats many years ago where a limp cost me a lot of money on consultations, tests, sedation, ultrasounds etc and was cured by doing absolutely nothing - it was probably just a strain! I currently have a dog with unexplained hair loss on his head that has cost a lot of money - thankfully we have good insurance (I learned that from the cats) which has been worth having - but so far there is no explanation and no treatment that can be given - poor little baldy!

rich isn't Tom Hardy just scrumptious in the blck and white pic I posted? His hands look very capable, if you know what I mean...

The real big vet bills come when specialists are involved. Everything is double/treble what your local vet charges. Charlie had his own ICU nurse for a week and they charge for absolutely everything even down to the surgeon's rubber gloves. It was like a huge BUPA hospital for dogs with 50 vets. My god there was some serious talent there. I know we love combats, but men in scrubs come a close second.

You lot have distracted me from attempting to write ff by mentioning Tom Hardy - love love love that man.

Anyway, back to the grind (quite literally)

Oooh yes a merkin would definitely let him stand out in the neighbourhood on his walks. He could be a real trend setter. However he does need one in extra small size which might be a problem for woof with her generous proportions. I'm surprised Pets at Home don't stock doggy wigs yet - they certainly have plenty of other crazy things like dog outfits and jumpers etc.

I didn't set up the bookmarklet thing for the Kindle because a) I didn't get it either and b) I reckon it's just as easy to copy the paste the URL into the box if you just want to save a story now and then.

Only does that mean we will get our Sunday night treat we have become accustomed to?
