Never had time to read the secret vice thing on my phone at work so just spent the last 30 mins with tears of laughter coming down my face. I must have led such a sheltered life! I particularly liked the one who knew her mother in law's PC password and looked at what she had been writing about her (all bitchy). I think if my mother in law had been IT literate, it's the kind of thing she would have done. I see a number of the posters had changed their names as well - good move probably!

Oh yes Richtea I have GN on as well. I'm pretty useless on celebrities and like watching GN to improve my celebrity knowledge. I think GN is such a good chat show host.

Mind you, a name such as Ewan McGregor wouldn't just be a squaddie in 2 Section, would he? Maybe he could be the officer in charge if BA decides to turn down the offer. Reckon he'd look good in combats and he is also nearer many of us in age (he's 44, I've just googled it).

When he mentioned his brother was in the RAF I had an idle Google. Let's just say Ewan was first in line for the looks.

Morning all. It's quiet on here this morning. Nice and sunny in Lancashire today so am going to tackle a big gardening job I've been putting off for a while. Sod the housework. It'll still be there tomorrow.

Thanks for reminding me ice. I may venture out to conduct more of my 'Officers vs Squaddies' survey.

Taking our cat to the vet as he has hurt his leg and is doing a good job of limping pathetically. Inevitably the consultation and treatment will come in just under the insurance threshold.

I think my vet sees me as licence to print money. I don't have insurance for my cats but I do have a separate savings account I pay into each month to cover such eventualities. Good luck!

PS orphan interested to see who comes out top in your survey - the officers or the squaddies?

Off to the south coast for DH's friends 50th birthday. Traffic jams everywhere. :(

Back from the vets and it's safe to say that the bill will be more than the £100 excess. We've left the cat there for sedation and 2 xrays for possible fracture. Dp went mad ticking all the boxes on a very long list of extra treatments we could add. I made him retract the ear cleaning one.

As for my survey and who will come out on top ilove, I very much hope it'll be me in the reverse cowgirl

I wonder if we could lobby for an LLCs Day where all armed forces bases/stations have to open their doors for women over 40 to ogle the personnel being put through their paces topless and in low slung combats for a whole day and into the evening at the Mess in full dress uniform ...
