does anyone else think it looks like he's wearing makeup in the pic where he has his arm around that woman holding a glass in his hand?

Nickel45 · 22/06/2015 17:42

Or without ice Wink

orphan · 22/06/2015 17:43

Oops sorry kelly, but yes, he'd better keep his winks for Molly and def not swing his mic in MK's direction.

Wouldn't it be funny/ironic if after watching the new series, we all fall madly in love with MK and her love interest if there is one, and poor CJ and MD get dumped on the 'that was soooo last year' pile?!

icemistOBE · 22/06/2015 17:54

That photo- he'd been in the Gala show at The Almeids Theatre so prob some traces

ice you should sooo be his agent. Feel a campaign coming on ....

KellyHb · 22/06/2015 18:51

Had some cider with tea-husband and kids were looking at me with pity/disgust because just so happened every single song on the radio reminded me of CJ/MD and one look at my face and (it doesn't take much to get me tipsy on cider) DD looked at DH and said 'is it about OG again? They know me so well!

KellyHb · 22/06/2015 18:54

orph if CJ started swinging his mic in MKs direction, I'd chop off his big speaker that's for sure! And id make him clear out my bread bin weekly-its a mucky job. Wink

KellyHb · 22/06/2015 20:18

Wow. It's gone quiet on here. Shock

Nickel45 · 22/06/2015 20:35

Catching up with RL and putting the kids to bed kel!!! It seems to take a very long time for the kids to get in bed and stay in bed! Littlie is now threatened with losing TV tomorrow if I have to go in more than five times ...so instead she shouts "don't come in, but ..."! Not sure which is worse!!!

icemistOBE · 22/06/2015 20:44

bedtime and littlest getting back tooth so not seettling very well. Just gave him some calpol and hubby gone up with him to try and settle him.

Rhubarb01 · 22/06/2015 20:54

Not sure which is worse having little ones you have to settle in bed and doing the whole bedtime routine at 7-8 pm or having to nag your older children to go to bed later on and tell them that they do need sleep. There's no such thing as an adult time or an evening these days as mine are all milling about well beyond 9pm and in the case of the eldest well after 10 pm although she largely keeps to her room in true teenager fashion. To be fair to her she always gets up in the morning, organises herself and leaves at the right time/gets to school on time without nagging, so I can't complain too much - perhaps all that yelling for the first eleven years was worth it!

Onlygirljen · 22/06/2015 20:59

rhubarb I have both of those worlds at the same time! Confused

Finally got toddler settled and asleep, now next task is to nag eldest into his!

Dizzydots · 22/06/2015 21:08

Mine are well beyond being able to tell them anything - nocturnal creatures who won't get out of bed in the morning, they often miss am altogether and despite endless nagging appear for breakfast at lunchtime. Then lunch is at teatime and we've only just had dinner! DS dd cook for us though and cleared away by DD - they're just waking up. Remember the days...

orphan · 22/06/2015 21:11

Holy moly - dp due back soon from work trip and I've just emptied the washing machine and discovered his favourite cashmere jumper, tucked in amongst grotty PE kit etc. It's now a lovely little jumper...Confused Wouldn't be so bad, but I've got form for this. We have a growing collection of little jumpers (all dp's).

Dizzydots · 22/06/2015 21:13

Has anybody read Sanctuary, the second story by DTT author? Was thinking of giving it a go but not sure about the total immersion DTT demanded, and I gladly gave, loved that story.

Richtea19 · 22/06/2015 21:19

I also have nocturnal ones, and one that goes out mid week as he has finished school and turns off his bloody phone!

orphan we have a collection of little jumpers, I blame DH and kids for putting hand wash stuff in the general linen basket! Obs their fault!!

I've just caught up with today's chats, you all make me smile after a busy day :)

KellyHb · 22/06/2015 21:26

Just watching Grand Designs and its in Bath this week. Im expecting to see CJ to pop round every corner?

Our 2yo twin boys are so active and into climbing and def would not settl when they should be asleep, we've had to put 2 stairgates, one on top of the other at the door. It looks weird but needs must.

orphan · 22/06/2015 21:36

richtea yes, little felted jumpers are de rigeur in our house! Have had a go at stretching it but it would be a very odd body shape that would fit it now.

dizzy I've downloaded Sanctuary onto my kindle but haven't yet started it. I was really impressed that the author replied to each of my reviews. She seems lovely and obvs pleased people are still finding and enjoying her work.

Dizzydots · 22/06/2015 21:55

We are going away on Wednesday and thought it might be perfect travelling reading, but don't want to download to DHs kindle wouldn't want him latching onto my secret obsessions reading it Blush, might not get a look in, and don't have one of my own. Is there anyway it can be saved to iPad ???

BK28 · 22/06/2015 22:00

Just amazed how fast life can move in the MN world... chapter XX and already 500 +posts...so just popping back from R/L or rather the 90 chapters of FSOG slow and steady by Mrs.Fraser (would recommend, but can impact with daily chores etc) and find a new series on the horizon... have trawled the thread and love the tango tits label...have to agree whole heartedly we need BA/CJ and 2 section but at the mo not sure how feeling about MK. Life does move on perhaps CJ will have been promoted but still hands on in military terms!!

Received an invite from the local building society to a seminar to be held at Bailbrook House, thought might go just to visit the shrine of CJ/MD

Now just catching up on ff
whaj just loving the brooding CJ you are portraying and how cute is Lottie!!

onlygirl nice work!

orphan · 22/06/2015 22:09

Sorry dizzy wouldn't know the answer to that. I only managed to sort the kindle out because of rhubarb's step by step guide for idiots. Smile

icemistOBE · 22/06/2015 22:12

I loved that one bk her fast and furious is good too Smile

orphan · 22/06/2015 22:17

Careful BK that you don't succumb to the OG equivalent of Jerusalem syndrome if you visit the Holy Shrine of Bailbrook. I'll look out for reports of a woman hysterically and repeatedly wiping herself with a napkin and muttering something about cabbage and Travel lodges.

cherin · 22/06/2015 22:32

Hello there! I found you again! I just bumped into the news about series 2, and could not resist the urge to see how you're all doing! Life's been hectic in the cherin's household, with Sat for DS1, work above my ears, and the possible* purchase of another flat
(*dont want to jinx it! No exchange of contracts yet but solicitors and mortgage fee paid...must count for something, right?)
I have been reading Jen's latest fanfic, and a few others and am always very impressed! Hope you are all well, partners, kiddos and elderly parents all ok? What level of mischief have I missed??

Richtea19 · 22/06/2015 22:39

Yeahhh cherin we've missed you!!!!! Everything crossed for you. Don't want to say it and jinx it either!!!
