So ladies what's the plan for this series 2 secret takeover? Tbh if there's no more Molly, the I am happy to have a new captain, too. But I seriously hope this version 2.0 is up to the same standards, and tony grounds doesn't get complacent...
So, how do we go to Kenya? Are your immunisations up to date? I have been to a few places but never to Africa! Where are the measuring tapes??

Hi and welcome back Cherin mayhem is the usual order of the day, with the left of field activities of orphan and woof keeping us all smiling - some of your art work would have been useful to illuminate some of their antics but the news of the next series has thrown up a flurry of activity, consternation and glee in equal measures!! Oh the next 18 months are going to be very long indeed!!!

I reckon milo manara should read some of Jen's chapters and would rush to the pencil case ;-)
(Btw I blame fanfiction for my disappearance...there are just so many hours in the day and so many amazing stories out there...I have been browsing some of the classics, too. I gotta say there's a lots of people imagining mr Darcy in M rating :-) Blimey if miss Austen could read those stories...!!!)

I know what you mean about losing yourself in ff, dance the tide nearly killed me! If it took that much investment of time to read, I can only imagine how the author felt when she'd finished it.

Oh dear kezia I don't fancy a portly man with huge, balding son servicing my boiler, but perhaps squinting and lots of imagination could do the trick.

Is it absolutely certain that LT didn't want to reprise the role? An article I read quoted her as saying it was down to EastEnders commitments. I just find it hard to believe she'd turn down the opportunity to star again in a programme all about her! Not watching EastEnders, I don't know how big her storylines are in that.

I will probably get lynched for saying this but LT waving bye bye could be our only opportunity to get CJ back (assuming he signs up). If she had said yes, I don't see how they could have been in it together in any great capacity as they wouldn't be able to serve together.

Also thanks for the tip on DTT. Started last week and have just managed to get to chapter 48. I'm exhausted.

Yes, logically I know you're right onefor, but my heart screams in a toddler tantrum fashion says 'I want MD and CJ!'

Orphan I'm a bit out of touch, but have you had a turn on the CJ tour? maybe he could offer to give you a therapy session to calm you down.

onefor think you could be right. Still hoping there will at least be a mention of MD in new series. In the interview with BA after the series finished he was asked if he thought CJ and MD would stay together, the response was along the lines "hope so, it's up to the writers".

I'm still feeling a bit deflated, speaking personally hope TG takes on board fans wouldn't accept a romance with CJ and a new medic. If CJ stays in army and gets promoted there would be a new captain that would be more believable.

Kezia still happy for CJ to be a captain. he's more likely to be shouty and stern faced with forearms and a headset. We never saw Major Beck with full gear. If there was a romance, it doesn't have to be with CJ. Maybe Brains or Kinders?

That's what my sources have told me- new series got green light weeks ago but were trying to get LT onboard but she was reluctant to sign up again. Guess saying EE commitments is way round it. I don't think we'll ever know 100% the truth.

But if it paves the way for BA/CJ to have a bigger part then I'm all for it
