OK, after freaking the bejaysus out of me with the weird trailer / advert I am intrigued and looking forward to giving this programme a viewing.

(I will have to record and watch later as I will be watching Messrs Strange and Norrell.)

Anyone else looking forward to it and hoping it lives up to the hype?

Sternin yes but she is also stunning in real life, or rather not in this programme. So think it must be the hair!

Rummikub I think she kind of doubts her reason for existence! She was made to look like Leo's mum, he rejected her and then her creator killed himself and the other synths left her.

But it was almost like she places a higher value on humani life than her own existence. Whereas niska has a superior attitude.

So the actor playing Karen is only 28? I thought she was supposed to be mid 30s.

Possibly partly because I don't feel that people younger than me should be doing responsible police things. And because Pete is 10 yrs older.

Oh lawdie, I should not have watched that in the office... Too much sad drama at the end!

I just want to give Colin Morgan a big hug. (It's ok, he's only a year younger than me, it's not even the slightest bit weird. Not that I kinda fancy him ) I loved him in Merlin and he's brilliant in this. They all are really; I can't fault any of it.

Can't believe there's only one episode left. How are they going to get out of this sticky situation?!

I'm loving Katherine Parkinson too. It's great to see her nailing straight drama as well as being a brilliant comic actress too.

Mmm ... That's the only problem with the proposed second series - it means we may not see everything resolved in this one.

And I'm going to find it hard to care quite so madly if beautiful Max never recovers his brain.

(I guess future stories will depend on which of the actors are still available. Could be a whole new family.)

I missed it last night so I've just caught up leaving the DC to have far too long a nap. Poor George & poor Odi - at least he's going to be united with the conscious synths at Hobbs' lab! I don't think Hobbs has any plan to destroy any of them. I think he wants to be known as the man who gave synths consciousness. Now he's got them all he's going to work with them to figure out how to make Odi conscious & repair Max... I hope!

I totally missed Fred's tracking device! I couldn't figure out what was going wrong with him. Poor Fred being used like that! Poor Leo thinking his "mum" wanted to be a family with him. Poor everyone.

YY to Leo & Matty getting together. There was definitely a "starting to notice her" moment when she said she was stupid & he disagreed!

So, will Hobbs take the humans captive too or will he leave them on the outside to figure out a way to help the synths? Will Matty's male friend reappear at any point? Will Odi get repaired & join the gang? Will Beatrice/Karen realise she does want to live & will that have anything to do with her partner tracking her down? So. Many. Questions! Can't wait for next week!

Matty and Leo? Ick! I see Matty as about fifteen and Leo as 20 something. But might he have arrested development due to dying?
And were we meant to see Nishka as the 'baby' playing Barbie? Because surely they were programmed to be a certain age?

Niska is only about 9yo so playing barbies should be "normal" for someone of her mental age. It was nice to see her relax a little & let herself trust Sophie enough to play with her.

Edwin Hobbs was the guy holding the trophy - obviously he was understating when he said he knew George "a little" a long time ago. I don't see how you can collaborate on something good enough to win a prize without knowing your collaborator more than "a little"!

Matty's a very mature 15/16yo... in a few years time the 4y gap wouldn't seem quite so 'ick'! Don't lots of teenage girls have much older cyborg boyfriends?! Totes normal, as the kids would say! One of my friends was engaged to her 20-something boyfriend at about that age... They met online &, oddly enough, didn't stay together!

When one of the people with him asked if he'd known George he was holding an award trophy thing with his & George's names on it. Can't remember what else it said on it but the implication I took from it was that they'd worked together on something.
