Soup dragon - Dr Google tells me you're right. For Jimbo to have CF Shirley and Kevin must have been carriers. So dean has inherited the gene from Shirley but doesn't have cf Because Buster isn't a carrier.

This kush and Stacey storylines ridiculous-even if they are better suited. All the chasing kush did and how much it took him to change his mind about marriage and he is going to throw it away for Stacey. Its not like Stacey has only just arrived, she was around before kush chased after shabnam. I guess come could say he is deliberately sabotaging the wedding due to his fear after losing his first wife, but that's not how its being played out.
I don't like this story about dean. Whats his comeuppance meant to be? I don't feel sorry for him at all.

Someone was talking about the consequences for Dean because of what he did...the more I watch EE the more I am convinced that the "natural consequence" is him not being Oliver's father!

Re Dean - I would like to see him caught in the crossfire between Ronnie, Roxy and Charlie and for Ronnie to realise he did rape Linda and do him in like she did Karl. Didn't Karl trying to rape her tip her over the edge before.

I think Ronnie's going to throw Dean a "welcome to the family" party if he's distracting Roxy from hitting on Charlie! That or she'll sleep with him herself & then insist he raped her so she can get justice for Linda while getting back at Roxy & Charlie. I reckon she's just about crazy enough to do it!

Ugh, Dean is so predatory. Him and Roxy seemed consensual, but she was clearly drunk and lonely/desperate and he obviously exploited that. The way he was looking at her when she was being raucous in the bar… just, ugh. Shabnam and Stacey also 'consensual', but both vulnerable in their own way. He has to pay for raping Linda, surely. I agree with whoever said Shirley/Buster seeing his true colours and turning against him (and apologising to Linda for not believing her) would be the best outcome at this stage. Will they witness/overhear something? I hope he doesn't go for Lola. Noticed Billy warning her to stay away from him in the bar last night….

Oh god I hope Oliver not being Dean's is NOT Linda's satisfying conclusion. That would be utterly shit!

I don't think Dean was being predatory with Roxy, she approached him first in the bar and tried to get him to buy her a drink so I'm guessing get they were just getting pissed together.

There's an article on BBC saying that they've cast Gavin & that his character will join Kathy on her return to the square & "will hold the key to secrets for many of the squares residents" or something like that. Sooo... Sharon's going to have to wait a while to meet her real dad if he's only just been cast!
