Today , watching Lola and Phil.
Lolas DD is Ben's child.
Ben is Phil's DS
lola is Billy's GD.
Billy and Phil are ?? cousins.

Pat was married to Pete Beale
Pete and Kathy had Ian.
Pat married Roy evans.
Ian married Melanie.

Melanie turned up with a bloke who gasp wasn't from The square.......but turns out to be Roys DS.

All related by marriage or relationshp somewhere (I think there was only one pairing that I couldn't find a connection for )

The writers make it so hard for me to like Ronnie. She's controlling/paranoid/manipulative to a stupid degree - get some therapy woman, ffs! And it still pisses me off she's so far got away with killing Carl.

Massod gives up his job at the restaurant with half a days notice ! Why is every major life change in EE such a totally last minute decision ?

Why is Massood so obsessed with Shabnam's daughter when he seems to have totally forgotten his own son in Pakistan ?

Masood is horrible at the moment. Tamwar was right. He will lose his daughter over this.

Carmel is horrible but then I can't stand Bonnie Langford anyway. Carmel is definitely like some of the overbearing, interfering MILs you read about on here.

I think he did say that his family was all over the place with Kamal (sp) in Pakistan and a Granddaughter he has never met.

I want to give Carmel a slap and tell her to fuck off. She is an interfering, overbearing busy body.

I didnt see her confront phill about Gordon either but they are like Den and Angie hate each other but stay together in the last month he has lied about her dad and sold the Albert she should LTB imagine sharon starting a thread in relationships

I can understand Carmel being protective given Kush is a widower and she raised him by herself for a while. I also think Bonnie is playing the role well, not coming on too strong - Carmel seems very real to me and I hope Bonnie's made permanent.

I really like Carmel i expected her to be squeaky voiced and over excited Essex girl but she seems normal

I think Carmel is coming across as a nice and caring person too. Maybe she'll turn into a dragon but who knows? I think she's just excited about her son getting married.

Muslim weddings have 2 or 3 days of celebrations with one party from the man's side of the family so I don't know why Shabnam was getting all pissy when Carmel mentioned the golf club. Also, I hate how Masood (and Shabz) are developing an inferiority complex with Carmel just because she's richer than them. It just wouldn't happen in RL.

It's interesting how we can get such different impressions of a character from exactly the same information :)

I find it infuriatingly unlikely that gangsta Ronnie would be sharing her vulnerabilities with Vincent after everything that went on. I want to like her but she's turning into a spoilt cow, totally unrepentant or fazed by Sharon losing the Albert because of her and plotting and scheming to get her way.
Roxy is stuck as a teenager, acting first, thinking later.
I like Carmel. She is coming on too strong as a potential MIL but I think Bonnie Langford is playing it well, IYSWIM!

I do think that Charlie and Roxy calling Ronnie paranoid and acting offended are out of line tbf.

And Why is Kush such a sleaze all of a sudden. He chased shabnam since he arrived and barely noticed Stacey. Now he's all over her. Hope Stacey gives him a slap.
And Lee carter is one of his mates? Have they ever been in the same room together before?

I really like Carmel, but they're laying it on too thick with the 'Stacey is a good laugh/Shabs is a bit miserable' thing. I think the inferiority complex about money is spot on though.

Don't you think Carmel is turning into a control freak over the wedding/engagement party? The only person who wanted the ridiculous dance routine was her.

Are Lee and the rest of Kush's "mates" on the football team that they mention occasionally?
