I've really disliked this season because I've spent the whole time going "that wasn't in the book... nor was that... nor that... wait, they've cut what?"

New season, past the books - much more interesting.

On a tangent Dany's eyebrows annoy me. Haven't read all the thread on GoT due to being a late comer, but I'd be suprised if they hadn't been a topic of irritation before

On which note, I had a horrible moment in the last episode where Jaime was trying to explain things to Myrcella and I thought she was going to, maybe, ah, be quite friendly.... I've definitely been watching this show too much

Thurlow I know. When Myrcella said IKWYM, I was a bit worried she thinks Jaime fancies her. Definitely reading and watching too much Game of Thrones.

Totally agree with limited - Dany is horrible and I really struggle to like Jon. Tyrion is the only one I can stand. Maybe Arya on occasions...

If Jon's parentage is as rumoured, then his claim to the throne (assuming he's not dedded) is more valid than Daenerys claim. He would be the son of the first son, and that comes before other children, assuming Targaryens don't care about bastards (given their freedom on shagging relatives, they probably don't).

It could be that R+L got married. Apparently polygamy is ok if you're a Targ.

Yes, Jon would have the best claim, but Dany has the dragons, so it would probably be in the best interest of both to do a deal.

This is what I think/want:

Jon Snow is dead and will stay dead (pains me to write it, sniff sniff)

Daenerys will be fine with the Dothraki, but my question did Drogon fly her over water? Where do the Dothraki live? I remember they were afraid to cross the sea?

Arya will be blind but alive in Season 6.

Hoping Sansa and Theon are dead, they are both boring and broken. But if they are alive at least Theon can't rape her! We've had enough rape now!

Brienne normally messes up so doubt Stannis is dead (wishing a more painful death on him after Shareen, maybe The Onion Lord will get him)

Marsyella is not dead in the books so we will see :)

Wish the (new bigger better improved) Mountain was his brother The Hound, I miss him :(

Cerci will be absolutely fine (secretly glad because I do like her)

pfft Bastard Targs follow legit sons, but people think Jon Snow's parents married.

With most Targs dead, and all Baratheons dead, the throne is not for whoever inherits it but whoever taes it and can keep it.

If Cersei came round for dinner her children would be acting like little monsters and she would insist they were G&T and only acting up because your children were not intellectually stimulating enough for them.

Lammy - I assumed the new kings guard is the Hound in disguise hence the not speaking/gold mask thing. Hope so as we didn't see him die

Finally watched, second part of the final episode, with Dh.
Didn't like seeing Jon Snow. At the end. Hated it.

I think the hound is of fairly normal stature as opposed to ... well ... the mountain I do think more was made of the experimentation in the books but am fairly sure cersei gave permission for the mountain to be 'operated on' by Qyburn in series 4.

The Hound is meant to be the younger brother but the actor playing him is about 20 years older than the guy playing The Mountain. And looks it too!

Good point, if Littlefinger is away from trouble that probably means he had a hand in creating it...wonder if he got to Stannis' men, but what would be the use in that ...highly possible he was involved in the walk of shame though, Cersei will needs her people around her more than ever after that...what a motley crew of scumbags her people are too (apart from Jamie).

I thought the silent guard was The Mountain, hmm hadn't considered The Hound.

Actually I'd forgotten about The Mountain being covered on that table like Frankinstien's monster, so hadn't thought it possibly that it wasn't him under the mask, though he was super big wasn't he.
