Cersei had a body double, I think she was pregnant during filming?

PfftTheMagicDraco · 16/06/2015 07:01

I think Snow isn't dead but he won't be back until season 7. I think he's Azor Ahai (spelling) come again and he will be reborn with the help of Melisandre.
Sansa isn't dead either I don't think, but I think Myrcella is.

PfftTheMagicDraco · 16/06/2015 07:04

I think they dropped the Stoneheart story because of Jon Snow, would be a bit repetitive otherwise.

Lweji · 16/06/2015 07:33

Somebody better survive. I don't care that much for Sansa.
On the other hand, I got the feeling that Brienne had somehow deserted her in favour of killing Stannis.

As for Daenerys maybe the strangers worship the dragon, which has installed itself in their land, and will take her as their leader for riding it.

I thought the appearance of Varys at Mereen was strange. I wonder if he wasn't behind the masked men...

And for Firefly fans..

YES! That's exactly what flashed through my mind at that line!

gingercat12 · 16/06/2015 08:07

Ok, so Gilly and Sam went to Oldtown. Does that mean Jaqen will turn up there?

CitronVert · 16/06/2015 08:24

Did anyone else notice that Daenerys seemed to be wearing a different dress to the one she was wearing at the fighting pit? Did Drogon drop her off at her house on the way to get changed?

Lweji · 16/06/2015 08:31

The dress was the same, but it had changed colour to stained grey.
You know, because of all the pollution and how dirty dragons are...

SerJorahsSecondChoice · 16/06/2015 08:40

Mother of fashion!

I was always impressed at the extreme whiteness of Dany's dresses, in a dusty seeming climate.

Annarose2014 · 16/06/2015 09:09

Myrcella is definately dead, which is fine by me. The actress was wrong for me. She was too adult, too quickly. Not sure what difference it makes either tbh. Though possibly it means Trystane stays around on the Small Council? He looks like a sulky troublemaker but he could end up just being an annoying teen for us to endure.

Sansa and Theon are definately alive - its Theons redemption arc. Like someone said above though, it just makes Sansa look a bit crap. Tossed about my circumstance with nary a plan in her head. Her only plan seemed to be to light a candle and.....hope something happens? I had thought she would kill Ramsey but I guess she's no Arya.

Moln · 16/06/2015 10:39

The death Arya put him through I actually enjoyed. Was a bit disappointed she killed him rather than left him to suffer.

I'm evidently turning into homicidal loon

Moln · 16/06/2015 10:42

Oh a totally agree. Sansa leaving the corkscrew behind really?

She needed a plan. She would have had a plan surely? I mean woman who told her to light the candle was quite obviously dead when Sansa last saw her after all.

Lweji · 16/06/2015 10:45

Was her plan to wait for Stannis? It looked like it.
Or wait by the candle for superman to arrive.

Iggi999 · 16/06/2015 12:11

I am hoping Sansa isn't pregnant.

5Foot5 · 16/06/2015 12:44

I thought the appearance of Varys at Mereen was strange. I wonder if he wasn't behind the masked men...

I thought the appearance of Varys at Mereen was entirely predictable. After all, that is where he was heading with Tyrion so I imagine he had a good look around for Tyrion when he disappeared and then thought "Oh well I will make my way there anyway and see if he turns up"

I loved the scene between he and Tyrion - "An old city, blah, blah .. whoever has experience of running a place like that?"

Annarose2014 · 16/06/2015 13:08

Well in fairness the presence of a dwarf in a place of honour beside the Queen might be noted all along that area, especially when a massacre took place. Its not as if Tyrion isn't noticeable.

In the books (and I guess in the TV show) the only reason Jorah even knew who he was to kidnap is because there's only one posh dwarf in the world with a distinctive facial scar.

So I'm pretty ok with Varys hearing it. He'd be a bit crap if he hadn't.

Annarose2014 · 16/06/2015 13:09

Also, its Sansas childhood home, but apparently she doesn't know any back gates out? .......okayyyyyy......

QueenOfThorns · 16/06/2015 13:15

Ooh, I have a theory all of my own! There initially didn't seem any point to me that Stannis would still be alive - he's lost his army, his witch, his family. However, what if Brienne decides not to kill him, but somehow gets him to the Wall so he can take the black? I believe there's a vacancy for Lord Commander and he'd be perfect for that job. Of course Jon Snurr will be revived, but his vows ended when he died, so he'll be free to go off, marry Dany, and share the Iron Throne with her.

That all seems a bit neat and convenient though, doesn't it!

RhubarbRhubarbRhubarb · 16/06/2015 13:26

Of course Jon Snurr will be revived, but his vows ended when he died, so he'll be free to go off, marry Dany, and share the Iron Throne with her

Ah, that's lovely but thats a happy ending...GrrM likes Misery, Misery I tell you! Wink

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 16/06/2015 13:33

I keep wondering if Stannis is truly dead, too. They didn't show it. She could have hit the tree above his head instead!

About Varys...I think we underestimate how much he knows through his vast network of spies. He was probably able to track Tyrion's journey the whole way and knew exactly where he was headed.

Baddz · 16/06/2015 13:38

Tyrion will end up on the iron throne
Jon will be a direwolf
Dany will go mad targaryan style

Lweji · 16/06/2015 13:46

I thought the appearance of Varys at Mereen was entirely predictable.

Yes, but it was the timing.

He was heading there to take Tyrion.

limitedperiodonly · 16/06/2015 14:08

Jon Snurr will be revived, but his vows ended when he died, so he'll be free to go off, marry Dany, and share the Iron Throne with her.

Oh no. They would be the most insufferably dull couple. I like Jon but he's a bit earnest. Ygritte was perfect at puncturing that, and his chest with arrows. Dany has no redeeming features.

If you invited them round she'd be pointing out the inferiority of your wine choice and co-opting you to litter patrol duties on the Residents' Association, of which she was naturally chairwoman, and he'd just be mumbling apologetically.

gingercat12 · 16/06/2015 14:19

limitedperiod ROFL at your comments on Dany. My views exactly.
