rhubarb Rupert is very handy with a gun.

dance we played hide the sausage roll years ago on a trip to Castle Howard (combination of white wine and sun went to our heads I think) down behind a haha...If anyone had caught us we'd certainly have given them a laugh. Obviously now we're respectable NT card carrying members and restrict such activities to a leap year or lunar eclipse.

Rhubarb01 · 16/06/2015 20:13

Yes orphan not only is he handy with his gun but he can do rough as well. I recall him sticking a knife in someone's hand in Homeland. I think he probably scrubs up tidily in a tux as well. If you can bear to spare him he might get a call for casting!

pixieg1rl · 16/06/2015 20:13

I'm stealing a tumble in a haha for a future ff orphan!

SoEverybodyDance · 16/06/2015 20:18

Pixie that was a great update to Operation Nyota... liked the CJ boyish rough and tumbling... been waiting that one out for quite a while, very glad to see you're back onto it!

orphan · 16/06/2015 20:22

Ooh I'm feeling all nostalgic now. Don't think I could manage to get down into the haha now though without straining something.

orphan · 16/06/2015 20:32

Might have to do some Bond role play with Rupert then rhubarb . I'll reprise my Lady Garden role and he can rescue me from the clutches of Herr E. Pelmet. I think woof's still got the haircut and the physique.

Nickel45 · 16/06/2015 21:54

I think I must be missing out, I've neve really got into bond films, but would make an exception if BA was cast .... :)

cjwoofwoof · 16/06/2015 23:10

Its still Idris for me if Richard Armitage is too old and Rupert is under contract to orph as her bit of rough plaything

KellyHb · 16/06/2015 23:11

Yeah Nickel as much as BA would make a great Bond I don't think I could cope. His profile would go stratospheric, he'd have women constantly wanting him and sg all the time and I would just get soo jealous. Confused I just want him to stay in UK and do British dramas and kind of stay under the radar (or am I being selfish?)

KellyHb · 16/06/2015 23:34

BA's just favourited a tweet from Toby Regbo who he was in Reign with about loving Ru Pauls Drag Race. Bizarre. Hope BA hasn't got a thing for Drag queens?? I hope he's not in touch with people from Reign. I didn't like it when he was in that.

Ilovelblue · 16/06/2015 23:41

Just back from a night out with some people I used to work with but had to check in here before going to bed. It's almost a nightly ritual with me now!

Kelly I don't think any of us liked him in Reign but I guess, to be realistic, he has bills to pay just like the rest of us. Is he "resting" at the moment? I could certainly find him a few jobs to do, though they would be unpaid! Mind you, he could probably get a job as a wedding escort. Pixie does he have to do anything other than look handsome as your wedding escort at the weekend? I need him bright eyed and bushy tailed for Surrey on Sunday afternoon!

Rhubarb01 · 17/06/2015 00:12

Oh woof I forgot Idris but sorry to inform you he fails the forty test as well (42) although given that RA could be allowed one shot at Bond perhaps Idris could as well or they could job share for one film? That would be an interesting concept.

On a serious note I do think they should consider someone who will be able to commit to at least four films and given the amount of time it takes for each to be made they probably do need at least eight to ten decent screen years in them! Its a bit like expecting Dr Who to do at least two series.

icemistOBE · 17/06/2015 06:44

Morning

Reign- not BA's finest hour.... But he was the best thing about the show. Pity about costumes and overly long hair... Apart from the tight leather trousers he had on for his 1st episode....

Just checked and the vid I put on you tube has had over 9000 views!

Best get boys up we have to leave in 30 mins Shock and both are asleep

Of course he has other duties this weekend ice, I've got lots of things that need doing in my ladygarden. He's going to get plenty of dibber action, then we have to screw the new garden furniture together.

Ilovelblue · 17/06/2015 09:07

Glad you'll be teaching CJ all these horticultural terms pixie as he'll need them when we're at RHS Wisley next week! Don't tire him out too much though please?

orphan · 17/06/2015 09:15

kelly I hate to say it and please sit down before you read any further, but there's a teeny part of me that wouldn't be too surprised if BA was gay, but with no dress sense or taste so maybe the diarrhoea jacket is a mark in favour of him being hetero I mean if Richard Chamberlain can crush my dreams, then BA might as well.Grin

orphan · 17/06/2015 09:30

Is he going to help you aerate your lawn pixie? Rupert's pricked mine already of course and I'm certainly reaping the benefits. I seem to remember the last time we all talked about gardening, mulching and forking the raised beds was very important as well.

Does anyone else have honeysuckle in their garden? Last night, the scent of ours was so lovely. I must have sounded like an extra from a bad porn film, sighing and saying 'that's so gorgeous' whilst I say outside!

pixieg1rl · 17/06/2015 10:28

I do think my lawn would benefit from a thorough pricking orphan so I'll add that to the list, along with good session of double digging.

Looks like I'll be wearing him out ilove Wink

Dizzydots · 17/06/2015 10:37

Apparently pix it's always advisable to check for thatch if you have a spongy lawn, I'm told thatch is a natural part of the living turf and generally desirable Grin

pixieg1rl · 17/06/2015 10:43

Yes, I'm happy with a light pricking dizzy not a full scarifying, this isn't naughty Hogwarts after all!

orphan · 17/06/2015 10:54

Perhaps invest in those garden kneeler things pixie. Might come in handy.Wink

pixieg1rl · 17/06/2015 11:07

Good idea orphan, one of those ones that can double as a low stool I think. I do like a bit of flexibility in a tool Wink

cjwoofwoof · 17/06/2015 11:51

Ahem can't get the thought of a low stool outta my nut now...a bit undesirable in your usually well trimmed garden I'd've thought pix

Ditto orph a teensy bit of me thinks BA may well be batting for the same side. What a loss to female kind.

Rhu I'm very sad to hear Idris falls over the 40 barrier for JB. Can we have AT instead then?

orphan · 17/06/2015 12:03

Thanks woof for passing that image on. better than a high stool though I'm sure that's something naughty Hogwarts would be familiar with though.
