Yep Daniel is finishing after Spectre so that's why there's the speculation over who will take over from him

Ha they are talking about the next Bond in Loose Women today. I've tweeted them to say has to be BA

Going back to whether a second series of OG is likely, I'm in the very doubtful camp and tbh please don't flog me I don't really mind too much now. If it was going to be very much a CJ and Molly storyline along the lines of some of the ff, then, yes I'd love one, but otherwise I do fear nothing could compare to the first one.

And as for Mrs Brown's Boys, I've never watched it other than tiny clips I've caught. Am amazed it has an audience but the main bloke was very nice on 'Who do you think you are?'

woof I think I've still got somewhere the discarded footage of us doing the gyrating silhouettes for the theme tune. If I remember correctly, it had to be abandoned because even in silhouette, it was abundantly clear that what you were doing with 007 and his loaded gun was not for family viewing.

If you were BA's agent ice you'd have had him fitted for the tux by now!

Re the ff, I meant to say Dizzy I agree with you that those three would make excellent drama series and even though Jen's was set in Canada, it wouldn't need to be filmed out there so the BBC could keep costs down! The scenes in the hospital where they thought Molly might lose the baby would have been a heartwrenching episode just on its own.

In your spy capacity, I think you should tell the film people we want BA as the next 007. We know he's good with a gun and he would look fab in a dinner jacket.

The Sausage as the next James Bond! I'm feeling very shaken and stirred. It's a no from me. Perhaps a Twitter campaign to BA the role!!! I do t think his too young. The last three bond films were meant to have gone back to the beginning, I think? I always get a bit confused!!!

Busy morning here, DS seems to be struggling with the pollen, set off an asthma attack. Brilliant asthma nurse had us hooked up to a nebuliser within 30 minutes of us calling for an appointment. He's now pumped full of drugs which unfortunately make him a bit manic but at least breathing. Lots and lots of screen time today. Ironically it's beautiful outside and I just want to be in the garden planting out the stuff I got at the weekend.

Rich I never ever, ever watch Strike Back for the storyline. The male totty fest is more than enough to take in. Shame Max only lasted two episodes, I quite liked him as a baddy

How about Richard Armitage for James Bond? Very nice on the eye and can imagine him in a pair of snug trunks...

Afternoon! Having a crappy,
crappy day at work, although cheered up by the thought of BA in a tux James Bond style. I think he might be a tad young though, can't imagine a bond still in his 20's.

ilove I think last night is the first time I've ever been compared to the Virgin Mary in any context. I'm polishing my halo here!

Re all the commissioning chat, I do worry how they would tackle it while still keeping them together. Ultimately it's Molly's story, so either it has to go with her furthering her army experience with CJ in the background as supportive partner,
or if LT isn't there because of EE, then the prequel idea that's been floated on here a few times showing 2 section forming and the incidents we know about but didn't ever see such as Geraint's death, CJ marriage split etc. Wasn't there chat on here at some point that TG had pitched a few different ideas to the bbc? It could be that they are still finalising what the story will look like hence the delay in announcing. All pure speculation on my part, but I don't think TG would try and stoke as much interest in the series as he has been without there being some sort of reason.

Michael Fassbender is in the running as well apparently. I could cope with him shaking a martini.

jen didn't TG say though in that fb chat ages ago, that he could see himself following other's stories? That could have been though just him wanting to keep open all options at that time rather than any serious consideration.

Oh I don't think of Fassbender as ginger pixie not like The Sausage. Would need to check all his bodily hair before I come to a final judgement.
