Had a lovely day in the Lakes. It stayed fine and was reasonably warm. No sun, but you can't have everything. My friend hadn't been either to the hotel I chose for our lunch, nor to Holehird gardens so we chose well. We took another friend as well (she is my Amsterdam friend for those of you who've been on here for ages) so a good time was had by all. Lovely food at the hotel too.

I had an email when we got back from Greenstuff. Hope she won't mind me posting it here: I really enjoyed our chat last night, always great to talk to s fellow nuy!! Thanks so much for the links, have been giggling like a teenager, they were lovely! Haven't done Mumsnet yet will probably do so when I go to bed tonight and really p* off my other half!! (I had sent our CJ Collective Handbook and one of CJ's diaries).

I know!! I seriously would've embarrassed myself even further. I remember he said 'Are you his number one fan?' and I said I think theres a few of us who think that we are and he said "I love shit like that". You had to be there but his delivery was pretty hilarious. Ahh thanks Nickel those pics are just what I need.

I don't know how all these women who BA comes into contact with literally don't all fight to give him a right old seeing to. But I suppose they may do-we don't know!!

Kelly glad you had a good night. That was so funny producing your phone with photos. (Not that we haven't all done that at some point.... you're just a bit later to the party, that's all). My best one was when we were doing a quiz for charity at Christmas and one of the sections was of famous faces and my quizmaster (knowing my addiction) slipped a picture of CJ in there. Of course, hardly anyone knew who he was with the exception of my (male) colleagues who had seen CJ popping up on my screensaver every so often and announced this to the audience. Ilove had a very red face after that! Well done for trying to drop in some OG'isms too!

Ilove there's nothing better than surprise pics of CJ. I'm always trying with the OG'isms. If I've not done any in a while, I do some on DH but he doesn't count as he's heard so many of them now anyway and" talk about easy targets". Hey just done one there! Sorry am on the cider now and trying to write my new chapter and just losing my mind a bit! x

ilove what a beautiful day you had. I've spent the day prepping craft for the holiday club I'm helping with, an hour of littlie having her daily bedtime nonsense and I'm off to find some alcohol and chocolate ... I hope, else I might need a late night trip to Sainsbury's

Another Pornstar slipping down nicely. If I screwed my eyes up the High Society actor looked like CJ and with the American accent was like Will Darcy so double whammy.

Yes, I'm sure even JK Rowling probably had a few wobbles (not that I'm comparing myself to her!!). Once I get my OG DVD back from my friend and episode 2 watched, then calm will be restored.

Ooooh enjoy pixie! Not been to that show. It always looks good on TV. We do the Tatton show every year as it's not too far from home. Buy up lots of plants! That's what it's all about!

Morning everyone! Just lost the last two days not with DTT, that was last week, but with the 50sofg tale that someone posted a link to! Bit of an eye opener, but damaged couples does seem to be a reoccurring theme for us!! At times our CJ had morphed into CG and I think I could have coped with some silk tie tying up!!

Found I was unable to dip into OG land while reading that so am now catching up here...great to be back on op nyota...loved the interplay between the 'boys' and a nice luxury surprise... Think Archie might win that bet though pixie
Wow Jen couple of nice steamy chapters...I justjust a sucker for a man in a quality tailored suit and silk tie!!

Loved the reminiscing of certain types of alcohol and past effects...sorry I can't do gin , leaves me depressed and sobbing...wrecked one Christmas totally!!!

Anyway our "gin" day is off to seek out a new bed...DH has declared that he needs to be able to walk in the morning!!! Mattress defo needs replacing plus we also have bare cupboards....currently hiding in downstairs loo to catch up!!!

I now would like to read a 50sog/OG mix ff story. I found one that is meant to be Jane Austen type but I've not read it.
This obsession, sadly no other word for it, is showing no sign of going away

The Almeida thing was a gala and fundraiser so presume BA was taking part that way (screenshot attached). Still not found photos but not had a proper look as I spent last night in garden drinking too much wine

Feeling remarkably ok this morning considering the number of cocktails I managed to consume last night. I think our bank balance may be feeling worse though!

Such a lovely day yesterday. The play was fab and I spent the rest of the day singing Cole Porter songs tunelessly. It was World Naked Bike Ride day and we just missed the start off. Obviously, I've taken part in previous years but had to finally put an end to it when my Rapunzel ladygarden caught in the spokes and I ended up having a premature trimming. woof was planning on taking part this year on a tandem with Matthias if she could part him from his smock. The last I heard, she was checking his inner tube and fiddling with his valves, bike safety being uppermost in her mind.

Need to catch up with ff now. Having finished DTT, I've time on my hands!
