Here we are!

I do think the staging helped Sweden. Perhaps we should campaign to have everybody sing in a national language in front of a pure white background... as well as invading

hugoagogo · 23/05/2015 23:57

Here comes bod! Grin

HarryLimeFoxtrot · 23/05/2015 23:58

For Eurovision 2016 I'm not proposing we invade a Northern Swedish city

Bunbaker · 23/05/2015 23:58

"Sark sounds like fun."

It's my favourite holiday destination - no nightclubs/bars/karaoke etc. It doesn't appeal to stag and hen parties or groups of young people who want to drink all day. Just beautiful scenery and coastline and loads to explore.

I have just listened to the winning song and it doesn't grab me at all. I voted for Australia BTW.

dillite · 23/05/2015 23:59

Those poor audience people have been standing there for at least 4 hours. My legs would fall out of my arse after being on my feet for that long.

dillite · 24/05/2015 00:01

Sark does look nice, but not like somewhere I would visit. Too quiet. And too much nature.

HarryLimeFoxtrot · 24/05/2015 00:01

Or maybe Västerås in 2016.

nancy75 · 24/05/2015 00:05

I'm off to bed now before w accidentally start any real warsGrin goodnight all, it's been funStar

dillite · 24/05/2015 00:06

Good night everyone! My fusking neighbours are smoking weed and are killing my nostrils.

Bunbaker · 24/05/2015 00:09

"Too quiet. And too much nature."

That's why I like it Grin

Raahh · 24/05/2015 05:47

I fell asleep. I knew I would. apparently dh tried several times to get me to go to bed and I refused. Grin

I have just been woken up by the dog. On the sofa. My neck hurts.

Happy E urovosion! Grin

PeaceOfWildThings · 24/05/2015 08:23

I fell asleep too, but managed to get to bed just before 2am.

RedCrayons · 24/05/2015 08:31

Can't believe I sat through all the songs and fell asleep for the voting!

toldmywrath · 24/05/2015 08:40

Morning all- I'm impressed by HarryLime's umlauts or whatever they are called but unimpressed by all the talk of invasion (can the Falklands enter?) Grin

toldmywrath · 24/05/2015 08:42

My blooming cat kept me awake since the dawn chorus, I shall need an other afternoon nap.

TrashcanMan · 24/05/2015 09:02

I fell asleep too, the red wine following white wine tipped me over. I voted for Belgium, I thought they were great! Sweden it is next year, so. Happy Eurovision everybody!

Raahh · 24/05/2015 12:23

I'm still gutted I sat through all the songs and fell asleep before the results.

I've recorded it. I might watch it later. MaybeGrin

PeaceOfWildThings · 24/05/2015 13:24

Sonit turns out the Swedish singer who wrote the 'homophobic' twitter post was quoted out of context...and he's gay! Lol

SwedishEdith · 24/05/2015 13:31

I wish there was a way to see all of the scoring. The countries who get nil/low points might always be coming 13th. I'm not actually that bothered, honestly, but it'd be quite interesting.

Raahh · 24/05/2015 13:34

I'm sure years ago they showed all the scores. That was probably before they ended up with 40 eligible countries, though.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 24/05/2015 13:47

We just watched the results. Sweden, cool.

Gutted that the Supertramp-Coldplay tribute band (Austria) got "null points" though.

Also gutted that Serbia didn't do better. They should have won I reckon.

SwedishEdith · 24/05/2015 13:48

Yes, I'm really surprised Austria got nothing. Hence wondering about countries who just keep missing out on being in the top 12 for every vote.

wowfudge · 25/05/2015 19:03

The audience were standing for more like 8 hours, not four, according to friends who went to the semi-finals.
