given recent form, things look less than great for Nadal-but he likes the big stage and slams are a different beast to other tournaments.

So- new thread to talk ( mostly) about tennis- though it's not compulsory., and we all have different favourites and respect that others might not love our favourites as much as we do.

so...a week to go. May Murray be less tired, Rafa more confident , and a happy tournament be had by all.

Well, Kim's wedding dress seemed to be hiding something. Or maybe it was just an odd shape. They looked happy though- and I will admit Murray looked good in his kilt. I also think he looks better with more facial hair, less gaunt. Marriage clearly suits him.

There will be a baby in the Murray camp soon, though. Is Amelie due in the summer?

Andy is looking better these days. I think Amelie's due in August. I think Tsonga is a lovely lad but I can't get excited by his game somehow. We saw him in a restaurant in April -he had lost that day so I was particularly impressed to see that he was drinking only water.

If I was a Liverpool owner, the minute Stevie said he was off, I would have hauled Rodgers in and got rid, and let Stevie stay till the end of his playing career. He'll clearly be back coaching/managing one day. For someone whose done so much for the club, I feel so sorry for him.

Rodgers seems more interested in where he's dipping his wick than managing a football team.

Big changes for lots of clubs over the summer.
