I'm ready for Bethany to bugger off back to Italy now.

If she could take Les Dennis, Michelle, Tracey-Luv, Jazz-Hands, Chesney, Sinead, the chicken man and his entire family, and Rita I would be very grateful.

History of Corrie on Corriepedia.......original houses were 3-bed with outdoor lavatory. I guess that they must all have converted one of the bedrooms into a bathroom.

southeastdweller · 24/06/2015 18:43

Just been reading in the new Inside Soap that Deirdre's death is announced the week after next.

SymphonyofShadows · 25/06/2015 07:01

Who lives in the house that Len Fairclough built in the gap? Curly used to own it.

millimat · 25/06/2015 07:05

Which gap?

Jo4040 · 25/06/2015 07:40

ERM...I can se e him outside but I haven't got an imag of him inside. God I bet he's aged well owd Curly

hildasmuriel · 25/06/2015 08:25

It's Dev's house Symphony

AnguaResurgam · 25/06/2015 09:21

In some houses, the front room is used as a bedroom. That's where Blanche used to sleep in No1.

hildasmuriel · 25/06/2015 10:01

I'm losing patience with the Street. I hated the idea of Faye's baby but then thought the aftermath of it and the difficulties for Faye were quite well brought out at first with Faye's emotional tussle. I'm concerned that Miley will simply be handed over and brought out on occasion (probably whenever any body's on holiday they will be 'visiting Miley') without the real emotional trauma that Faye is facing being brought out fully. Anna and Tim have just accepted seemingly that Faye doesn't love Miley, nobody seems to think that she's possibly got post natal depression, is defensively a troubled child who may need professional help and, given her history, the emotional ramifications of this decision are huge.

SymphonyofShadows · 25/06/2015 10:21

Thanks hildas. The layout has changed a lot since Curly's day!

SymphonyofShadows · 25/06/2015 10:24

I agree about Faye, it all seems to be about Anna rather than her.

What was all that about with the expensive handbag? It is supposed to show that Callum has loads of drug money to splash about and that Sarah will somehow wake up and save the day?

Wishful80sMontage · 25/06/2015 10:55

I Think I may be coming to the point of giving up watching now sadly- I'm only half watching as it is. I have a passing interest in what happens to baby Miley and what's going on with Cathy but apart from that it's dire.
I just hope they do justice with Deirdre's funeral episode after which I'll not bother for a while unless it improves dramatically.
It's the only soap I watch heard good things about emmerdale though so may give that a try!

Jo4040 · 25/06/2015 11:01

Wishful80sMontage · 25/06/2015 11:14

Still weird that him and Becky were together?
Has he slept with Carla/Leanne or Michelle?

Jo4040 · 25/06/2015 11:22

No..only probably in his mind....

NuggetofPurestGreen · 25/06/2015 11:42

He's sort of slept with Carla! There was an episode years ago where he went to do a job (fnarr) at a house and the woman in the house 'seduced' him - and she was played by Alison King Grin

Jo4040 · 25/06/2015 11:51

Lol I didn't know that. It would be great if all the women he has slept with were sat in the Rovers, swapping stories, taking the piss, and in walked Todd to hear all...his I could write for corrie me

Jo4040 · 25/06/2015 12:00

Just watched it. Halarious n cheezy

NuggetofPurestGreen · 25/06/2015 12:53

Ooo-errr Mrs Fanshaw

ProfYaffle · 25/06/2015 14:49

"Which gap?"

One of the houses was demolished, I think there was a gas explosion or a fire or something. There was a gap on the street for ages. Then, I think in the 80s, Len (Rita's husband) built a house there. It's built of new brick and looks quite obviously different to the others.

ProfYaffle · 25/06/2015 14:53

Just looked it up on Corriepedia, "The original No.7 was demolished in 1965 when the front of the house collapsed due to a faulty beam and the owner, Mr Wormold, had it destroyed due to the massive cost of repairs."

theliverpoolone · 25/06/2015 15:18

Yes re Faye. I would have thought given her history that there would be some significant Social Services involvement in the aftermath of her having a baby and any potential decisions of hers ??

Clawdy · 25/06/2015 17:09

Jason also had a very unlikely fling with Julie - then discovered she was his auntie, I think!

Wishful80sMontage · 25/06/2015 17:31

Yes I remember the Julie business now! How random was that

eddiemairswife · 25/06/2015 17:40

Was there any point to the T-shirt story? In last night's episode Dev, Julie and Tulisa were at yoga, Mary was in the pub ... Asda and Aldi must have been left alone. Also Ty and Fiz were in the pub, so what did they do with Hope and Ruby?
