I was wondering about Mary's camper van today too! Funny how she's now so hostile to 'Devendra' , and supporting Julie.

Wonder why Issy and Gary's child wasn't at the Christening? It's so long since he's been seen or heard of, I can't even remember his name!

I was cringing at the Platt family therapy. So obviously trying to emulate the Barlow scene and failing miserably.

Yes, the family therapy was dire. And what's with all this stuff from Michael - "Kylie's always been straight with me" I seem to recall her and David terrorising him in a garden centre and making him lose his job!

Dreadful stuff. I don't even try to take any of the stories seriously, well I know it's a soap, but I don't think the writers or indeed most of the actors are even trying to make it credible.

I know Kylie's clean but when did the personality transplant happen? She's so reasonable now that she's a completely different person. And yes, the therapy was a farce!

Brian is completely mad but his quirks are just a male version of Mary. I liked the kimono bit but I think we should have had a shot of Ken and Tracey looking at each other and rendered speechless when he mentioned about it being 'lovely against bare skin'
Thankfully Tracey said about it being bizarre for Amy having her ex-HT sitting at the breakfast table practically naked otherwise I'm sure we would have picked it up here!

I don't really watch it any more, just have it on in the background whilst I'm doing something else, and I may pause and watch on the occasions that there is any dialogue from Mary or Rita or one of the few other remaining actors.

However even they cannot rescue the dismal writing these days. Plot holes, clichés, personality transplants, wooden dialogue, boring storylines, dead end storylines, fillers, non sequiturs and derivative drivel.

Izzy and Gary's child (Jake??) was probably at the 24hour childminder's. Is Faye back at school yet?

She is on maternity leave, and will be back afaik.

Todd set up a situation that made Jason think that Eva and Tony were having a fling. They weren't, but the result was that they broke up and Eva left.

Leanne told Jason this week, that Eva has met someone else and is engaged. I'm not sure how timeframes work in soap, but that seems like a whirlwind romance for sure .

Ah I think there's a rule in soapland that you have to get engaged after two weeks of a relationship

Kal had been married before so a bit different - also he's a bloke ;) But there was an awful fuss about the fact he was seeing someone at all, and particularly a divorced non-Muslim (they seem to have been willing to accept the ex-prostitute bit too...)

I've just finished watching Friday's episodes. It's taken a few sittings as i just couldn't get into it. It's very poor atm.

I just watch on and off, but at this stage, I watch it as the farce it has become. I enjoy some of the scenes with the few who can act, but for the rest...I don't expect anything anymore.

Presumably there are only three bedrooms, Ken and Deirdre's , Tracy's and Amy's.

I watched an old episode recently, where Eileen and her two lads were moving into the Street, and the boys were giving out about sharing a bedroom, because there were only two bedrooms.

As we know though, the houses are elastic - given all who live at Eileen's, and of course Platts - so maybe Ken's house expands in a similar fashion.

yes, the houses are known as 2 up 2 down so I am skeptical about Craig's bedroom for instance
