I'm ready for Bethany to bugger off back to Italy now.

If she could take Les Dennis, Michelle, Tracey-Luv, Jazz-Hands, Chesney, Sinead, the chicken man and his entire family, and Rita I would be very grateful.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 29/05/2015 21:22

Hurray for Kylie !

Redglitter · 29/05/2015 21:22

You'd think that again the fact that the Barlow s are centre of the action they could at least mention a phone call from Deirdre

Ellenora5 · 29/05/2015 21:23

Right that's it, I'm going to chuck something at the telly, imagine telling Simon in the street that kal is dead, bloody ridiculous and Traceys time is up, she is absolutely awful, horrible woman and her acting is shit, she needs to go.

Bloody Kylie, prepare for more screaming and shouting in the Platt household.

eddiemairswife · 29/05/2015 22:53

Is Tracy suffering from some kind of delusional mental health problem? She knows she lit the candle; a normal person would keep quiet and not go out of their way to blame others.

theliverpoolone · 29/05/2015 22:53

I'd have been fuming if I was Leanne that Yasmeen stepped in so quick to tell Simon about Kal.

Was expecting all the Websters to leave and Jenny to pull the plug on Maddie - rehashing a recent plot line although I can't for the life of me remember who it was!

DocHollywood · 29/05/2015 22:59

I had déjà-vu in the hospital as well! It was Karl pulling the plug on Sunita Grin

theliverpoolone · 29/05/2015 23:05

Yes of course! Thanks, Doc!

hairhelpplease · 30/05/2015 06:14

The acting and whole storyline has been spectacularly shit this week and I love Corrie.

ajandjjmum · 30/05/2015 07:23

It's just a repeat - waiting for Karl to be found out, now it'll be Tracy. It really is the same story but with different characters. Come on writers - find some imagination or move on! Even Jenny is turning into Kirsty, with a small child being caught in the middle.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 30/05/2015 07:34

What happened to Maddie ?

AgathaChristie01 · 30/05/2015 08:06

It's boring now again, back to Tracy screeching and carrying on, while we know that she was the one who lit the candle. Same old, same old. Yawn.

DocHollywood · 30/05/2015 08:13

So unless Tracey confesses will there be a way of anyone knowing what she did? The only possible thing I can think of is if Amy remembers Carla blowing the candle out or she remembers hearing noises when she went to the toilet. It's too much to ask that Tracey dropped a 'clue' somewhere.

scattered · 30/05/2015 08:23

That fire has to be one of the most unrealistic ever. Carla passes out straightaway but Leanne was standing in it for ages without being affected; none of the neighbours hear the door being smashed down or come to help, the fire extinguisher conveniently by the door etc. very dull and a big repetition on the train crash, as others say.

hairhelpplease · 30/05/2015 08:49

Unless there is cctv for security at the flats and they see Tracey going in or Carla's keys are found on Tracey?

DocHollywood · 30/05/2015 08:57

That's true. How did Tracey get in the main building? Don't they need the security code?

MrsUltracrepidarian · 30/05/2015 09:24

yes, just like Karl andhe Rovers keys.
Is it normal in a hospital room to have lots of extended family milling around?

ajandjjmum · 30/05/2015 10:13

Might well have been an electronic fob on the keys Doc - you don't need to press the code with that.

AmIthatHot · 30/05/2015 10:38

Watched the lot on catch up

It was dreadful. So unbelievable

Was anyone really on the edge of their seats ?

shipinabottle · 30/05/2015 12:22

It was poor acting all round.

Ken going round to offer his condolences to kals family was appalling. Ken almost was smiling to kals mum and dad, and he seemed completely oblivious that their son had just died. There was just no emotion whatsoever in thanking them for their sons actions. No sadness just a smug look he always has on his face.

The scene on the ladder with Leanne saying yes was the most pathetic scene Corrie has ever written.

If I was kal I would be annoyed I have been written out in the most dreadful way. I wanted action with kal breaking doors down not just him stood about waiting to die

eddiemairswife · 30/05/2015 13:05

I just don't care about most of the characters, so I am completely unmoved when dreadful things happen to them. I did find the wedding touching though, and was amused by the awful clothes Carla was wearing the day after the fire.

Valsoldknickers · 30/05/2015 13:07

Yy to Ken smiling at Kal's parents, wtf?

HirplesWithHaggis · 30/05/2015 13:08

KenDodd, Maddie went home and caught Jenny about to abduct Jack. Jenny attacked her, she fought back and ran out, but was caught in the blast when chemicals at the builders yard exploded (set off by debris from the flat fire) and hit her head when she landed. Her heart had stopped, but ambulance staff already on the scene managed to bring her back. She's now unconscious in hospital, the only person who knows Jenny's a bam.

AgathaChristie01 · 30/05/2015 14:04

Was anyone really on the edge of their seats ?

Well unless it counts that I was in danger of falling off my chair laughing at most of it Grin. Or cringing at a lot of it.

southeastdweller · 30/05/2015 14:30

Such a disappointing week - the single best thing was the performance of Jane Danson as Leanne, who never fails to deliver.

I thought the actor who plays Kal's Dad was awful (as usual) last night and I'm dreading seeing months of hand-wringing from the Nazir family - I've just no interest in any of them and wasn't moved when Kal died. I suppose the producers chose to kill him off as a device to integrate the rest of the family into the street.

So Kylie is now back - I'm giving it two episodes before David forgives her and takes her back and four episodes before her and Sarah have a catfight on the street Hmm. It'll be good to have a resolution of sorts to the dreadful Gavin and Michael story next week, however.
