I'm ready for Bethany to bugger off back to Italy now.

If she could take Les Dennis, Michelle, Tracey-Luv, Jazz-Hands, Chesney, Sinead, the chicken man and his entire family, and Rita I would be very grateful.

Nick lives in Victoria Court too doesn't he? I feel cheated about Luz not having a showdown with Tony and for not knocking Tracey's head off once Michelle and Steve were safely out of the way Grin

Bruce Willis!

Housewife2010 · 27/05/2015 08:02

Re Michelle & Steve going on honeymoon, all I could think was how I'd hate having someone else do my packing! I imagine Liz would pack a few skimpy dresses, lots of accessories and no knickers!

theliverpoolone · 27/05/2015 09:31

GrinGrin @Liz's packing, Housewife - I reckon so!

MrsUltracrepidarian · 27/05/2015 09:36

Very unsatisfactory.
When did she pack?
Ecstatic couple about the spending their honeymoon with his twin bro' who he never sees and didn't come to his wedding.Hmm
Who would want to miss their own reception?
Would have been more realistic for her to get a hotel room, park Amy with her own mum, or Ken with the excuse that the happy couple could be alone that night. Why did Amy need to go to Vic Court when she lives next door to the pub? Or book a hotel room for Steve & Michelle..!
Gar!

SymphonyofShadows · 27/05/2015 09:38

Yep, why get them out of the way if you aren't even going to kick off? I thought the pub looked nice though.

eddiemairswife · 27/05/2015 09:46

Was Michelle going to fly to Spain in her wedding dress?

DocHollywood · 27/05/2015 09:48

The whole scenario of them being packed off to Spain needs a lot of imagination! How she got herself together after being told the bad news and then thought it through, booked the tickets, found their passports, packed for two people, got their cases in Tony's(?) car all in secret and in the blink of an eye without anyone suspecting something or even missing her, well, superwoman doesn't even come close!

BreconBeBuggered · 27/05/2015 12:39

Thanks for the update, Hirples. It seems I didn't miss any Liz/Tony showdown, then.

SymphonyofShadows · 27/05/2015 13:34

DP doesn't really watch much but saw it last night. When I told him that Tim and Sally were bound to stop for a shag he thought I was joking.

AgathaChristie01 · 27/05/2015 14:21

I had the same thought re the packing. I would hate for someone else to do my packing! And were they off to the airport in their full wedding finery. Nobody would want to miss their own wedding reception. That was silly.

I still think Kal will die, he will go in to try and rescue Carla. That is guess work, on my part, I haven't seen spoilers.
I think everyone else will be saved.

I was amused at Liz telling Tony not to come back, he owns the pub now with Carla, so he has more right to be there than she has, presumably. Grin
I wish they had left Liz and Tony together, I think they suited one another and I'm tired of Tracy always being on hand to split people up.
Remember her at Steve and Karen's wedding, when she revealed that Steve was Amy's father.

And on and on she goes...

pinkandstripey · 27/05/2015 14:48

Yes if kal dies that will be the 'trigger' for the upcoming storyline involving Simon and leanne - they made a thing of kal being a father figure getting him to talk to that girl. They won't kill Amy, they wouldn't kill a child, certainly not as a surprise storyline.

woodhill · 27/05/2015 15:32

I wish Tracey would die rather than Kal. fancy not checking your own dd was ok for the night.

who leaves a candle lit before going to sleep and wouldn't Carla have stirred. thought her flat would have a spare room anyway. Leanne and Simon share one and Nick with Beth and Sarah

AgathaChristie01 · 27/05/2015 15:49

No, Amy definitely won't die, I would say. Especially given that (sadly), they have to deal with a storyline shortly for Deirdre's death.

I'm guessing Kal will die, and everyone else will be fine.

MrsUltracrepidarian · 27/05/2015 16:00

Ironic if he dies saving Carla, after the history of Leanne & Carla re Peter ( and Calra's husband?)

Ellenora5 · 27/05/2015 18:48

I thought Tracy lit the candle when she came in, I could be wrong though because I was still trying to figure out how Liz got all that packing done in such a short space of time, I also think it will be kal that dies, I reckon he goes back in for Amy and gets her out and then drops dead.

HirplesWithHaggis · 27/05/2015 19:04

Yes, Tracy lit the candle when she came in, it was the personalised candle Sinead made for Amy (and which had an amazingly white wick for a candle that had been lit previously).

woodhill · 27/05/2015 19:20

so wouldn't she wonder why it was at Carla's.

so did Tracey deliberately start the fire or did she light candle to see?

HirplesWithHaggis · 27/05/2015 19:32

I don't think it had her name on it, so "personalised" was probably the wrong word to use, sorry. Sinead had made one each for the wedding party and handed the box to Steve, who took it back to the pub, so Tracy wouldn't have seen it before.

Tracy lit the candle to see, I think the placement next to the lamp was careless rather than malicious.

Listmaker · 27/05/2015 19:45

Tracy lit the candle to see. She was going to whack Carla with a vase thing but heard the loo flush so left quickly leaving the candle lit. So yes bit of an anti climax as it was an accident in the end.

Won't Kal get trapped while looking for the ring? Not sure why Simon would be with him though?

And yes as if someone would want to miss their reception! And yes the logistics of pulling that off pretty impressive Grin .

Wishful80smontage · 27/05/2015 21:14

Taking too long to rescue Amy! Stressful episode so far

DocHollywood · 27/05/2015 21:18

I must have missed something. Why would Carla actually be asleep when it must be mid-evening seeing as how the reception is still in full swing?

Wishful80smontage · 27/05/2015 21:21

Why aren't there more people trying to get out?!

CandOdad · 27/05/2015 21:27

It would seem after twenty minutes people will charge past you on the stairs?

DocHollywood · 27/05/2015 21:28

Yes, does nobody else live there?

DocHollywood · 27/05/2015 21:29

Good old 'ring road closed' excuse for no fire engines! And why didn't Leanne call 999 first before trying to break the door down. God, I hate these 'disasters', they're pathetic
