I'm ready for Bethany to bugger off back to Italy now.

If she could take Les Dennis, Michelle, Tracey-Luv, Jazz-Hands, Chesney, Sinead, the chicken man and his entire family, and Rita I would be very grateful.

Why was it pouring with rain when Liz was in the pub yard yet bone dry minutes later when Kal was sitting in the garden with his son on presumably wet chairs?

MrsUltracrepidarian · 26/05/2015 08:14

I so love the wit on this thread! Better than the prog itself. in fact usually watch on catch-up so gives me the heads-up on which bits to skim past.

DocHollywood · 26/05/2015 08:18

I agree mrs! I'm just off to watch the last 4 episodes and will probably skim a lot of it.

Wishful80smontage · 26/05/2015 08:25

Think if Cal goes that would be for the best- why has jimmy mistry struggled so much though? He's been so wooden and seemed uncomfortable especially since the arrival of his on screen family. I've seen him in other things and he's not been anything like that so am puzzled really. I think zeedan and ayla are both well played maybe this storyline will help bed them in more as regular characters.
Why is Michelle's other son/son swapped never mentioned did she stop all communication with him can't remember how that ended but there's never mention of him just ryan.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 26/05/2015 08:27

Just spotted the thread in Most Active, I haven't watched since just before Gail's wedding, so haven't posted for ages, but reading through it doesn't sound as though much is happening. When's the fire?

MrsUltracrepidarian · 26/05/2015 08:47

Where was Tony today?

SymphonyofShadows · 26/05/2015 10:25

It all kicks off tonight with the wedding. Tracey has stolen spare keys to Carla's flat so it won't be long before she does something awful

afreshstartplease · 26/05/2015 21:14

Oh there you go! Amy in the fire

AnneEyhtMeyer · 26/05/2015 21:15

Haha - I thought exactly the same, afresh!

OP posts:
Wishful80smontage · 26/05/2015 21:18

Oh god yes Amy in the fire! :(
Well called in this thread couldn't see it myself good twist how they worked it in.
Wouldn't Michelle's parents thought it was really odd that they had to miss their own reception though- all very accepting weren't they bar Norris :)

AgathaChristie01 · 26/05/2015 21:18

I wondered if maybe Amy would be trapped in it as poetic justice for Tracy,to be rescued later of course!

Haha, good prediction Clawdy!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 26/05/2015 21:27

So the fire is an accident? That's a cop out. Why would she use a candle? And why wouldn't she know where Amy was sleeping?

OP posts:
Wishful80smontage · 26/05/2015 21:32

She thinks she's at liz's anne don't think she would have offered the info to tracey as she said to Carla 'she was worried about tracey having her in that mood' so think she let tracey assume plans hadn't changed.
Really enjoyed that episode and tomo's looks really good

AnguaResurgam · 26/05/2015 21:35

Amy was meant to be in The Rovers.

Tracey wouldn't know that the reception was without the B&G, or that Carla and Liz decided on spur of moment that she would be better off not there in case Tony returned.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 26/05/2015 21:36

Hmmm... ok. But the whole candle thing was a cop out. For it to be an accident just doesn't fit in with all the build-up.

OP posts:
Wishful80smontage · 26/05/2015 21:38

That's what I liked though that all the build up has been alluding to evil Tracey taking revenge and horrible twist to her it was an accident that's put Amy in danger.
I love Sally and Tim anyway but tonight that were on good form :)

theliverpoolone · 26/05/2015 21:40

If Amy's injured in the fire it would be unthinkable that Deirdre (RIP) wouldn't come back, so don't know how they'll get over that one. Agree that the candle was a bit contrived. Love the way Sally and Tim always seem to get up to a bit of hanky panky when they're dressed up for a special occasionGrin

theliverpoolone · 26/05/2015 21:44

Also - didn't Michelle's dad come over once because he'd split up with her mum after having an affair with Mum's friend? They obviously got over that then.......Hmm

AnneEyhtMeyer · 26/05/2015 22:48

Agree with liverpool. And yes, Michelle's dad came over because her mum had chucked him out after the affair, didn't he?

When is Deirdre going to die? It has to be soon, doesn't it?

Sally & Tim were brilliant tonight.

Liz telling Tony he'd been found out via a phone message was a big cop out I wanted to see his face!
There's enough going on at the moment to make it worth watching this week especially if Gavin is unmasked. It will make up for the the past few weeks of the yawnfest that was centered on Callum.

BreconBeBuggered · 26/05/2015 23:40

So what happened tonight, then? I have dinosaur telly and had to go out. Bit too pissed to piece everything together.

Tried using the ITV player thingy but I have adblocker installed so it got all huffy with me and wouldn't let me watch it.

HirplesWithHaggis · 27/05/2015 01:00

Steve and Michelle got married, Liz sent them straight to the airport to have a honeymoon with his brother, Tony drove them and their bags had already been packed. Reception at the Rovers went ahead, Carla bearded Tracy in the loo and gave her some home truths. Liz asked Carla to take Amy for the night and left a voicemail for Tony telling him to fuck off to the far side etc. Tracy used the keys she stole from Michelle's handbag the other night to enter Carla's place and lit a candle rather than put the lights on. She found Carla asleep on the sofa and was about to crack her over the head with a metal ornament when she heard "someone" in the flat and fled, leaving the candle close to a lamp, the shade of which caught fire...

Meanwhile, Jenny prepared to abduct Jack while Kev was in the pub, having arranged to rent a flat elsewhere, and Kal didn't quite manage to propose to Leanne.

southeastdweller · 27/05/2015 06:19

I agree Doc about Tony. I like both actors and think they could have done that scene really well together. Maybe Tony's at Victoria Court for some reason and will get his comeuppance by being killed this week. I don't recall it being mentioned where he is.

ajandjjmum · 27/05/2015 06:50

Where was the flat he 'visited' with Tracey on occasions - was that Victoria Court? Tony and Amy killed in the fire?

Wishful80smontage · 27/05/2015 07:28

spoiler

When they interviewed Beverly callard she said Tony goes away for a while when it all comes out- I don't know if that means from now or when they have a bust up but he is coming back at some point in future.
