Andrea and the "All By Myself" bit was a blatant rip off (or deliberate homage?!) of/to Bridget Jones. I cringed.

Am finding this whole Tracy-desperate-to-get-the-Rovers-because-she's-loved-it-since-she-was-a-tape-playing-kid a bit ridiculous when she only hatched her dastardly plot a month ago and hadn't mentioned it once before that.

Agree the while I always wanted the pub thing is odd. What was stranger was Maddie stealing the glasses from the bistro! You can pick them up in asda for £1.50 so not going break the bank when your paying for a meal in the bistro. You think Sophie would have stopped here considering she also stopped people niking stuff from the shop.

I thought they were trying out a symbolism thing again. Or at least just running a similar theme through story-lines (bit like the weird bin thing) with the glasses. Broken champagne glasses in the shop and on the street. Spilt wine in the bistro (Gail).

No idea what it symbolizes though. Well, apart from impending disaster but that's no surprise!

I'm guessing Kal will die in the fire.

Will he go in to save leanne maybe and then die after he gets her out

I really can't stand B.G.T so I'm annoyed the Corrie schedule's been changed this week . But I think we're in for some exciting episodes this week.

I think Cal too. He's barely had a storyline of his own during his time on the street. The only thing that bothers me about him dying is the follow-up grief of his family that we'll subsequently have to endure.

Will Erica die? Or does she have some longevity yet?

I think Erica is going to have a miscarriage.

I am not going to get my hopes up for lots of deaths in the fire after the huge let-down of the minibus crash.

I definitely don't think there will be a baby for Nick and Erica. Babies are too difficult to keep in the script. Pregnancies make a great plot for them. Labour brings some drama. But actual babies? Well they just get in the way!

I wonder if Nick will ever become a father. Didn't a previous girlfriend of his have an abortion without telling him? I can't remember her name. She was a bit unhinged if I'm remembering correctly.

Also agree that a miscarriage would be more realistic given Erica's age and the fact that she has not been pg before.
Maybe Nick will then go all broody and he & Carla will try for a baby.

I doubt anyone else will die. I wish Carla wasn't leaving, I presume they will want to leave it so that she can come back. It was reported as her wanting to take a break.

I'm predicting Kal and Maddie to die this week but of course I'd love more to meet the grim reaper.

I don't want any spoilers. It's been so slow lately I would hate anything to ruin my surprise when they kill em all off.

I haven't seen any spoilers on DS about who's going to die which is just as well as I'd also prefer not to see any for this particular story like the P.P.

Yes, I'm only guessing re Kal, just as Zeedan gave him the go ahead and so on. I think the writers/ producers will have to get a bit more ruthless, with regard to killing people. Emmerdale has no hesitation, in that respect

Can't see Maddie dying in the fire as I'm sure I read somewhere that she may return in the future. I wondered if maybe Amy would be trapped in it as poetic justice for Tracy,to be rescued later of course!

I enjoy the fact that Jenny goes into psycho mode at the drop of a hat, and nobody really notices.
Having said that, why would you bring a child in a suit out playing ball. Why not stick a little tracksuit on him or something.
