I'm ready for Bethany to bugger off back to Italy now.

If she could take Les Dennis, Michelle, Tracey-Luv, Jazz-Hands, Chesney, Sinead, the chicken man and his entire family, and Rita I would be very grateful.

Todd was the bright one at school, all a* grades, teachers suggested Uni and he applied/was accepted at Oxford. Think at the time it was one in the eye for Sally and spending all her cash on Rosie-luv at private school, yet she turned out to be thick as 2 short planks.

NewNameForMarch · 19/05/2015 20:04

I remember Rosie at private school but can't really remember Todd at the time. They must be similar ages then. Thought Todd was quite a bit older. But then again I can never remember ages.

Housemum · 19/05/2015 20:05

I might be mistaken - I thought it was the same time

AnguaResurgam · 19/05/2015 22:15

Todd's a few years older than Rosie Webster. He's a couple of years older than Sarah-Lou, and she's two or three years older than Rosie.

AgathaChristie01 · 19/05/2015 23:40

Am bad on age too, I admit.

Sarah an Bethany look the same age, and indeed, act the same age.

I see the actress playing Bethany has signed a further contract. Great... Hmm

sherbetlemonD · 20/05/2015 15:21

Just watched Mondays episodes- Anna ironing babygrows. Jesus christ love; I think your stressed out enough as it is- sit down with a glass of Wine and a trashy novel for gods sake!

thenightsky · 20/05/2015 20:56

14 year old Bethany has more wrinkles on her forehead than her mother Sara.

Shock
theliverpoolone · 21/05/2015 22:01

Ah, just watching the Soap Awards on catch-up and saw Sally and Tim nominated for best on-screen partnership. Hopefully that means the writers won't split them up any time soon. And Sally won best comedy performance Grin

Wishful80smontage · 21/05/2015 22:07

I've got it recorded but knew sally won for comedy. I love sally character and her and Tim together are just so good. I will be really cross if the scriptwriters start pushing him and Anna together.
Sally and tim dressing up as Dollar for the wedding was tv gold :)

AgathaChristie01 · 21/05/2015 22:19

I loved that Sally won that award. I keep thinking she must love getting the chance to be funny, and she is brilliant at it, ably matched of course, with Tim.
All those years with Kev... Grin, sending the gals to wash their hands...she has well earned a bit of fun!
She has always carried her storylines extremely well, but I just love her and Tim together. One of the few things Corrie has going for it now, IMO.

southeastdweller · 21/05/2015 22:42

If they do bring Saint Anna and Tim together, whether it's as a one night stand or more, it will be another mistake from the writer's.

Did anyone else enjoy Wednesday's episode? Just two of the Platt family were featured and I loved Lloyd's phone call to Steve.

theliverpoolone · 21/05/2015 22:48

I've literally just remembered about Amy! We've not seen her for so long, either alongside Steve and Michelle, or with Tracey, or with Ken, that I'd forgotten she existed! Wonder if she'll make an appearance for Steve's wedding Hmm

honeyroar · 21/05/2015 23:47

Sally won a comedy award? I seem to be alone on here, but I find her character so wooden nowadays, and her and Tim as a couple grate. Then again I never understand why East Enders win Beat Soap year after year either!

Pyjamaramadrama · 22/05/2015 10:50

Love Sally and Tim together I will actually stop watching Corrie if they put Tim and Anna together.

I hate Anna lately she's such a martyr.

AgathaChristie01 · 22/05/2015 11:58

Same here pyjama, I love Sally and Tim.
The older / more established characters are the only thing that keep me watching now that the storylines have become so rubbishy and drawn out for months too long, becoming more nonsensical as they go.

Housemum · 22/05/2015 15:24

Amy wasn't there but her recorder andmusic was the other day in the rovers sitting room!
I have grown to like Tim, hope he doesn't end up with Anna, even one night. Sally irritates me, but Tim & Anna would just be too simple - ah, Faye gets her dad and adoptive mum together. Sounds like a Jacqueline Wilson plot!

Akire · 22/05/2015 17:31

Didn't know Maria had house/money only been watching 2y what's the background?

Was annoying Maddie and Sophie want get own place they can't afford... Yet spare flat above shop Dev happy leave empty.

Talking of Dev is he coming back?

Hate way some people manage to rent flat on one wage or two. Tyrone and fizz for example. Then Eileen had herself and 4 /5 adults there also.
Felt like missed something where kal and Leanne are living together and his family are totally fine with this. When made huge deal with his daughter going out non Muslim.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 22/05/2015 20:27

Marias DH (Liam Conner) was killed in a hit and run arranged by Carlas soon-to-be DH ( him from The Bill)
Carla and Liam were having a relationship (was her her BIL?)

So Maria would've got the house, insurance and his share of the business.

southeastdweller · 22/05/2015 21:04

Loved it when Tracey-luv mentioned her tape recorder Grin

I wonder if this Maddie and Sawphie living together story is to get us more invested in them before Maddie dies next week in the fire (haven't read that she does, by the way, but we know the actress is leaving soon).

CandOdad · 22/05/2015 21:05

Tyrone and Fiz don't pay a mortgage do they? I thought Jack left it to them?

MrsUltracrepidarian · 22/05/2015 21:20

Loved it when Tracey-luv mentioned her tape recorder
Yes me too!!! Grin.
The scriptwriter surely do read these threads.

EachandEveryone · 22/05/2015 22:04

I know people up north who pay £300-500 rent a month on amazing properties. So it's easy to do on one wage.

Ladytron · 23/05/2015 10:52

Was that Leanne trying to beat the door down in the preview for next week's gripping episodes? I couldn't think whose hair it was...

Tracey-Luv: "fed up with your builder's sweaty armpits and your shiny, bald head". Brilliant

I thought Andrea on the karaoke was quite funny too. I do have simple pleasures. Cathy sure has got some hang ups!

TheLastPickleInTheJar · 23/05/2015 12:01

Just watched last nights. I loved the "sweaty builder's armpits and stupid shiny head"! Brilliant insult from Tracy-Luv.

MrsUltracrepidarian · 23/05/2015 13:46

yes also loved Traceyluv's insult, and also the she referred to Rob. I always find it a bit Hmm in soaps when a loved up person died and then five minutes later the grieving partner is in another relationship with no ref to the departed.
