Have you watched the final Banished yet woof? I'm eager to know if someone has invented Pantene yet so poor Major MyDriedPeasNeedAGoodSoak can wash his hair.

mummyreeds · 20/04/2015 12:40

Fast forwarded to Episode 5 and CJ donned his gloves and dealt with the unwanted vegetation then built a 10 foot high fence to prevent nosy statues peering over!!
Been trying to work on presentation most of morning but CJ very distracting, keeps swivelling on my chair and begging me to allow him to demonstrate some of the moves he picked up whilst staying with Onlygirljen!!
Will have to take him out after lunch to show him the dubious delights of Blackpool and start on the reenactments. Thinking of seeing if the Pleasure Beach can live up to it's name!!

orphan · 20/04/2015 12:58

Oh well am ditching the statue disguise anyway - the body paint started to run in the heat and it was tricky eating my cheese and pickle sarnie without attracting attention.

I did enjoy though watching CJ labour away in the sun. I was delighted to see that apart from the gloves he likes to go au naturel whilst in the 'privacy' of the garden.

Nickel45 · 20/04/2015 13:28

When's CJ heading down south my way? I've spent the morning (well, an hour but don't tell DH) taking down an old tree, and digging out a patch of brambles, could've done with a tall dark man to help. Unfortunately my not-so-tall dark DH is not in my good books re the garden at the moment. All he has to do is cut the grass. Last weekend apparently it was too wet (was moaning to my neighbour as her DH had just cut theirs, and she said 'being too wet is a common problem' ... had to bite my tongue and remember I wasn't talking to you lot and she probably actually meant it literally!), this weekend it was too cold!!! How can it be too cold to cut the grass (spo feel free to jump in here to explain that one to me, in case it's a man thing! Wink). Threatened to get a man in to do it. As next weekend there will undoubtedly be another reason (threat of snow, tornados, earthquake?!) I'll save the job for CJ!

richtea hope your head is better now, migraines are no fun at all Flowers

ice love the swively fingers, thank you.

nip your latest chapter is sublime (trying to think of new words!). I am really, really enjoying the slow burn of this. It is SO romantic, I re read the whole lot in the early hours of this morning, when I couldn't sleep! It's wonderful! Love, love, love it!

Onlygirljen · 20/04/2015 13:56

mummyr if you have time before you get ready for your interview, get him to demonstrate his bendy shower move. Your mind and other things will be blown Grin

Right think ill pass CJ off as a long lost, newly discovered relative at the wedding. Will have to keep my hands to myself mind you, but have upgraded my room to a deluxe with a four poster bed now I know I'll have company Wink

woof I reckon your bush must need round the clock attention to keep it in such prize winning shape.

Ilovelblue · 20/04/2015 14:31

Nickel you are down for the CJ experience after pixie but I don't think we've ascertained yet how long pixie intends keeping him for. She gets him from this Friday.

mummyr when re-enacting episode 5, I'm surprised you bypassed the hospital scenes and endless opportunities to play doctors and nurses, bedbaths etc. Maybe you need to suggest a replay? Nice day for a trip to the pleasure beach anyway.

Nipper I echo everything Nickel has said about your latest update. Hope you're feeling better now. It's incredibly romantic and I have read the whole story to date several times over. They both have amazing self-control in all of this. I can't imagine just SLEEPING with CJ!

icemistOBE · 20/04/2015 14:41

Some of the ff is so good I forget that's a TV series Confused if we get another series TG will have a lot to live up to!

Replacement cable for phone has been purchased- phew.

Nickel, I applaud you for keeping a straight face after those comments from your neighbour.

I'm ok with a short visit from CJ, I'm down to London for the day on Sunday so I can do a handover Sunday morning. BK will need to step up the close protection services as Sunday is marathon day and there will be lots of people in fancy dress about.

cjwoofwoof · 20/04/2015 14:47

Nickel fortunately nobody has ever said my grass, or my bush for that matter, is too wet, but I feel for poor orphan whose skin must be like a shrivelled ol' prune so dry after the boulder and statue disguses. Bet she wishes she was lush and green and fully flowering like me...

mummy don't you remember last night's hospital dash, just like in Ep 5, when CJ had to be resuscitated due to excessive foraging in warm wet bushes?

Ilovelblue · 20/04/2015 16:09

In one of the two new roles I have taken on, I have to do a profile of myself for an in-house magazine. You know the kind of thing: who inspires you, what motivates you, what do you do at the weekend etc? All three of those questions could be answered with a CJ/OG slant to them. The final question is "Tell me something about yourself that will surprise me". My answer could so easily be "I am on a forum about a fictional character and we all believe he is real, to the extent that he is doing a UK wide tour with most of us and we have a new website dedicated to him". How surprising would that be for my fellow colleagues?

orphan · 20/04/2015 16:27

Heehee ilove that would be a surprise and probably the quickest way out of your new role!

woof yes, statue disguise wreaked havoc on my skin so Rupert's kindly popped round to rub in some aromatherapy oils. He's got a lovely touch.

orphan · 20/04/2015 16:33

richtea how are you today? Hope your head's better.

Onlygirljen · 20/04/2015 17:32

mummyr I'm going to need CJs intimate measurements for his kilt hire - any chance you could take them for me?! Wink

Onlygirljen · 20/04/2015 17:51

Only quandary is which of the two attached looks to go for. Pic 2, whilst obviously more pleasing to the eye, has the potential to draw too much attention away from the happy couple, and the baby oil might ruin my new dress when if he gets too close.

I'm thinking I should go for pic 1 during the day, with an ever present option to strip him convince him that topless kilt wearing is the height of fashion. Grin

Ilovelblue · 20/04/2015 18:19

Remember I'm in on this too Jen so do I get the privilege of getting him dressed before you pick him up from me? I agree picture one is the best.

Nickel45 · 20/04/2015 18:41

ilove bet that answer would get you noticed!! And would surely guarantee you won't be asked to do anything like that again!

cjwoofwoof · 20/04/2015 18:42

Obviously Picture 2 for me jen

cjwoofwoof · 20/04/2015 18:44

And I don't think I'd bother going to the wedding either Grin

Onlygirljen · 20/04/2015 18:45

Thought you might like that woof! I'll be keeping an eye on the floral table centrepieces just incase any of them start looking bush like and winking at CJ.

Paintedcherryblossoms · 20/04/2015 18:58

The piled up kilt man bears a striking resemblance to Andy Murray sure?y not? Confused

Paintedcherryblossoms · 20/04/2015 18:59

Sorry oiled up ....why does it replace things with random words ?

orphan · 20/04/2015 19:04

Obviously pic 2 bloke uses his sporran to keep his baby oil in.

orphan · 20/04/2015 19:06

Oh painted No No No! I don't want the horrible image of an oiled Andy Murray in my mind!

Nickel45 · 20/04/2015 19:07

I'm not sure Andy Murray has that much muscle does he? If he did, Wimbledon would be a lot more appealing!

orphan · 20/04/2015 19:10

jen I think all foliage and shrubbery should be meticulously searched. I fear CJ is in danger of being dragged into Woof's bush.
