I know there's a few of you out there...

OP posts:
ButtonMooooon · 11/03/2017 23:29

I have been an avid viewer for many many years and I have no idea what the posts about tonight's episode relate to. I got bored of watching, I glanced up occasionally but was mostly on MN waiting for updates about dates with GEG...

Who is actually writing it at the moment?
Are the cast all doing one line each?
It's a complete car crash
None of it it is in the least bit credible
And yes, Connies trousers looked ridiculous

TheDrsDocMartens · 12/03/2017 08:17

There's no way they'd have let David out to that accident in the first place. Dylan seems to be the only one who acts professionally now

Callmesausage · 12/03/2017 09:29

I agree, one of the worse episodes ever. Not sure how much longer the series can last if this is what they are putting out at the moment.

gingerhobo48 · 12/03/2017 09:52

I was really disappointed by last night's episode. What they are doing with David's character is farcical. I used to like Connie but she is really winding me up now. There are no characters apart from Dylan that I actually like or care about at the moment. At least Duffy wasn't in it much which was a good thing!

mrswhiplington · 12/03/2017 10:34

Dreadful episode last night. It's like they are trying to turn it into a comedy. The only funny part was Noel putting 60 on Duffy's crappy birthday cake.Grin

Phoebesgift · 12/03/2017 12:09

I felt like I was watching it whilst on drugs. It was bizarre and weird.

BubbleBed · 12/03/2017 13:42

The whole thing is far fetched. Why do staff just dump their cars in the ambulance bays for the day? How is David working with no intervention from other staff with knowledge of his mental health issues - and how awful have the writers been with his bipolar break? It's written like a pantomime. The Connie storyline is rubbish, the whole thing is such a wide berth away from Holby at the moment as well.

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/03/2017 14:07

Up to dates for once :)

Tho prob won't watch tonight's till next week 😂

specialsubject · 18/03/2017 19:19

Connie always looks ridiculous - trousers to her armpits, horrible spike heels and ghastly blouses. She used to be inch thick in slap until she got laid on that trip to Romania or wherever - now she wears less which does take ten years off, interesting message. Poor actress having to waddle about playing this pantomime character.

Thank goodness for dylan, the only real person in the e d.

I think someone dies tonight. Staying off threads until I've seen it!

Pixel · 18/03/2017 20:18

I thought for a mad moment Connie was going to do the decent thing and collect Grace and take her to see her loyal friend in the talent show. It might have jolted Grace out of her giant sulk. Mind you, I don't blame Grace for not wanting to talk to her dreadful mother! Where has the puppy gone by the way?

Couldn't believe how stupid the man was to start the crashed car after Pat Butcher had told him she could smell petrol. And to do up the seatbelt when he'd just had to force it open. He was only moving it out of the way, with all those other people around wouldn't your first instinct be to get them to help push it away a bit rather than get in?

Oh god, the thing with Ian's sister! How pathetic was that? Even if she never bothered going to school you cannot tell me someone 'smart' (as we keep being told - I'm not convinced) doesn't even know what numbers look like, or be able to tell the difference between a £5 note and a £10 note. Has she never bought anything in her whole life?

Optimist1 · 18/03/2017 21:58

OK, so it looks as though manic David will be off our screens for a while. What chance of Ian's annoying sister being recruited as a diagnostician at St James's?

Megatherium · 18/03/2017 22:36

Shame about David, I thought he was one of the more interesting characters till he started pouncing around in a purple suit.

mrswhiplington · 19/03/2017 11:21

Nice to see Louise with a smile on her face for a change. Not sure it will last though.

Not sure I can stand watching much more of Ian's sister shouting at relatives. She's the tea girl, why is she just let loose on everyone?

JustDanceAddict · 19/03/2017 16:28

I thought louise was much older than Ian!

insancerre · 19/03/2017 16:54

Ian cannot keep it in his trousers!

stripeknee · 19/03/2017 18:16

havent watched this episode yet but i thought something was going to happen with Ian and Lily, but do you mean Ian and Louise are now a thing ?

ISaySteadyOn · 19/03/2017 19:16

Think pp mean Jez. Ian is deffo after Lily.Smile

ButtonMooooon · 19/03/2017 19:24

As bizarre storylines go I really don't think Louise would go near Jez. And there was no build up to it like there has been with Ian and Lily

BubbleBed · 19/03/2017 20:14

Isn't Jez gay?

ButtonMooooon · 19/03/2017 20:15

He's bi, that was part of his conversation with Louise and he said I knew you had a problem with it, then she suggested he explain more when he bought her breakfast

BubbleBed · 19/03/2017 20:25

Ah i didn't hear that bit. I just remembered when he first started he told Ian he was gay, and obviously in his crossover with Holby he was. I didn't realise he was Bi.
