Actually, I say I'm not having problems loading the thread... I'm tending to reload the page and do something else work while I wait for it to reload. Plus I have had a couple of messages that 'this page is unresponsive' but if I ignore them and say 'wait' then the page loads.

I sometimes have problems if it's trying to load the whole 1000 messages. Of its the xx of 40 it usually works fine. I think it might be to do with the fact we have lots of images compared to other threads?
