That eating just after a meal thing drives me insane. DS does it - with him, he eats too quickly so the meal can finish sooner. Which is stupid as DD is a slow eater & he ends up having to wait for her to finish . I'm sure he'd eat more if he ate slower, or bothered to hang around for seconds or pudding.

My take on the snog. They’re professional actors who wish to do the job to the best of their ability. They don’t particularly want ten takes of the scene, so they put all they have into the first take and say that’s it. A snog between people who aren’t used to each other can sometimes be awkward and maybe a bit of that one was, but they didn’t want to do it again, because although they are friends, she’s recently married, etc. etc.

I also thought the music with it was wonderful. The crescendo when he grabbed her. Ooof! And we didn't get any of those awful noises that often accompany screen kisses.

And yes Comtess I thought of you when he was sitting on the table with his shoe on its side.

Off to the garden centre this morning with DS and his kids, and then this afternoon we're having 'afternoon tea' whatever that is at a hotel near here with DD and her family.

I had a odd stream of messages late last night on my what's app (usually only used as joint family message service akin to Weasley Family Clock so we all know where people are and are on message ref lifts/pick ups). Random geezer asking if I was still awake and how the hotel ceiling needed painting and how I really needed to come over and keep him company. I sent back a cheery wrong number message. Poor bugger replied he'd copied a number down with a digit wrong. Hehehehe. I clicked on his pic and had no urge to track him down to his hotel. Ie. it wasn't Tom Burke.

I've cooked my lot a full English this morn as a treat and am just ramping up the homework/revision. I'm cooking for the next 5 days so if you see me in here before lunch tell me to hop it.

As for the Suzie analysis, you have to remember one of her favourite 'ships' is Porathos.

I love the Milathos but I do agree it's affected the 'Athos' we came to know and love in S1. But then that goes for the whole series in my opinion.

All the 'good stuff' from S1 has been removed and replaced with gratuitous female bare arses, gratuitous physician executions, ridiculous bad guys with even more ridiculous accents and far fetched and ridiculous plots.

Someone has either been overthinking things behind the scenes and tried to bring together every single fanfic in one series or has been suffering from weird dreams and given briefs to various writers throughout the series based on those!
