As you were wenches... The bar is stocked up, the chaise is re-covered and ready for action, and all we have to do it... er. Wait until Friday.
Arse.

Also, is anyone else having problems with MN not refreshing after they post and the screen just freezing?

Not that it should matter because I have to WORK

It's ok for me Helen.

I know what you mean with the TV box, ours is full of sports programmes, but DH knows that he daren't touch anything TB/TM. It's all I have on there. Grin

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 20/03/2015 09:53

Thanks Apes Smile It's just grey here.

ApricotCrush · 20/03/2015 10:01

I think it's nearly finished here, it was a bit on a non-event really. I thought it would go much darker. I'd love to see a total one though.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 20/03/2015 10:07

I feel the need to decorate

Mmm yummie. Thanks Helen Smile

IssyStark · 20/03/2015 10:19

Dear, dear, that man. Thanks Helen

I too am ignoring work which is a very bad thing as I have to give a presentation on a topic I'm not overly confident on to loads of librarians on London on Monday and I have very little of it written.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 20/03/2015 10:23

Really looking forward to tonight Wink

BloodyElkFire · 20/03/2015 10:48

Oh sod it.

BloodyElkFire · 20/03/2015 10:51

Oh, oh, oh Helen.....oof! The profile.....

Oh sod it.....done it again!

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 20/03/2015 10:56

Oh Sad and there I was thinking you were going to come and snog me next. Still, I can't fault your priorities.

Sadly you'll be waiting a while... I may have 'accidently' left him tied up somewhere with the remains of your leash from yesterday.... Grin

BloodyElkFire · 20/03/2015 11:00

Oh Helen, you know you can't leave him tied up randomly. He needs regular exercise or gets all....you know, pent up....

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 20/03/2015 11:07

Indeed - all pent up. Grin
(Nothing 'random' about it)

Right. I'm logging out because I have got nothing done yet today and that is a Bad Thing. (Though I have got a load of washing on now that the eclipse is over... and the clouds have gone so the sun is shining down Hmm )

Issy good luck with your presentation...

Catch you all later.

Oh Elk Smile

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 20/03/2015 12:34

It MUST be 9pm surely?

Well, what a great big non event that eclipse was Hmm Although it did get very gloomy, so much so that I couldn't find a pencil in my work desk drawer....yes. It was that exciting. Still, at least no pretty man fell backwards through a window.

BloodyElkFire · 20/03/2015 12:49

dammit!

My 15 year old eclipse watching specs worked a treat. We weren't far enough north for complete coverage apparently, it's only if you're right in the zone that everything goes dark and you get a corona, and shimmery grass and cows lying down.....

There were people camped in the arctic circle and being mauled by polar bears to get a a proper look apparently !

MadamedeChevreuse · 20/03/2015 13:07

Getting mauled by polar bears to watch a solar eclipse? Thats mental dedication...

elk my youve had a busy morning! sit down for a bit, hen?

issy that sounds stressful. Shamrock Ive virtually never had to do presentations, but I have to do one in a few weeks, to bigwigs, also on a subject I know not very much about. And since my contract ends soon, not making a total hash of it might be a good idea, in case theres any other jobs going in the dept...

Im having a total bloody nightmare today. Massive pressure on for the past month but today / next week is crunch time. And I have a bloody migraine. And I really need my boss's help but he's out at a conference. Argh.

Sorry. Thinking calming thoughts about stocky, psychotic bomb disposal technicians and 9pm tonight...

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 20/03/2015 13:13

Hope you feel better soon Flowers

BloodyElkFire · 20/03/2015 14:20

How does anyone function with a migraine? Wine Madame, kill or cure??

BloodyElkFire · 20/03/2015 14:22

^that was a lot more sympathetic in my head

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 20/03/2015 14:33

Dear God, DS1's school's charity showcase event thing is trending on Twitter right now.

MadamedeChevreuse · 20/03/2015 14:38

Definitely kill Im afraid re the Wine elk - do keep rubbing my temples though...

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 20/03/2015 14:43

Washing is on the line; chicken shed has been cleaned out; stinging nettles have been pulled up, flowed bed has had a half-hearted weeding effort.

tis a lovely sunny day and I haven't got half as much work done as I should have
